Mohinder stood by the classroom door, handing out earmuffs as the students walked in. "You'll need these. But not until after the lecture."

The Dangershop resembled an open field. Mohinder leaned back against a table with an assorted range of projectiles - and a pyramid of limes - while a range of targets littered the near and middle distance. "How many of you have fired a gun?" he asked, looking around for a show of hands before continuing. "Ballistics is where we study projectiles. This usually means identify the gun or bullets by impact pattern, bullet path or striation of the cartridge or casing. The bullet's shape, composition, calibre and casings can all help find not only the type of gun, but the weapon itself." Mohinder carried on in more detail.

"There are targets," Mohinder pointed them out - round and humanoid, "And weapons." An array of handguns, crossbows and slingshots as well as things ~~totally moddable~~ that were more sports-related - javelin, discus, hammer and a tennis pitching machine. "Take a look at the damage, the identify marks that they leave behind. And I hope I don't need to say this, but be careful with these."

This was fantastic! Dōjima bounced excitedly as Suresh-sensei talked, wishing she could get her Walther from the weapons locker.

Mod your targets and weapons at will. Just no pointing them at each other.

Mac looked at the range of weapons a little uncomfortably. She was so out of her zone with this lot.

Eventually, she picked out a gun, since it looked the simplest to aim and shoot.

Weapons were not something Chris was comfortable with, but he chose a gun and chose some targets.

Naomi was more used to firing a phaser but she ended up picking out a basic gun and selected the targets she was going to use.

Ooo - guns! Blair could get behind that. She picked one up and started to practice with it.

Dean may have had a manic grin on his face as he tried different guns, the crossbow and the javelin. Not so much because he wanted to see their markings; just because he liked shooting things.

Well, Adah supposed she could be helpful today in regards of how not to handle these sorts of things, nor was it anything she'd probably be capable of doing, so she watched with disinterest underneath the protection of the earmuffs.

Where he's around for teacherly needs.
