All of the students who'd earned or been given detention had been told to meet Fraser outside of the Danger Shop. And that's precisely where he was.

"Good morning," he said pleasantly. "I trust you all slept well and I thank you for being on time. Please enter the Danger Shop."

It is now seven-oh-six. You have exactly ~~eight hours and fifty-four minutes~~ four hours and fifty four minutes to think about why you're here. To ponder the error of your ways and you may not talk. You will not move from these seats and you will not sleep.

"Before you begin your detention," Fraser said, looking down at them, "I would like to hope that we never meet again in this circumstance. I once met an Inuit elder who said that, those who get into trouble once learn from their mistakes. Those who get into trouble twice obviously have hard heads and deserve whatever trouble comes at them next."

He smiled and then gathered up each person's snacks before shooing them into the Danger Shop library.

Have you decided to get out of that library?

But, you'd better back to the library before Dean Jones catches you!

(The content of the lockers and things found in the halls are all moddable. No weapons. Feel free to steal anything but this is a simulation so it will all disappear when the detention is done.)

John was done with the library. Pushing one of the doors open, he stepped into the hallway. "Seems we've lucked out and it's not just a library."

"Good. Think anything will attack?" Jaina asked a bit hopefully, following him.

"Only if you're lucky," John replied doubtfully. "This feels too teen drama to have monsters lurking."

"That explains it," she said, looking both ways down the hall to see which seemed more interesting. "I'm really bad at teen drama." In case he hadn't noticed.

"Not you!" he exclaimed in mock surprise. "It's okay, I'm sure we can find a way to incorporate some violence."

"But that would be wrong," she said seriously. She was beginning to wonder if she didn't sort of suck at some of the more standard Jedi ideals today.

"But you're so cute when you're violent," John grinned, heading toward the lockers. "Feel like lock picking?"

"Sure," she said, pulling her multitool from a pocket. It was just a simulation anyway. "Hoping to find anything in particular?"

"Never know what we could find," he shrugged. "Potentially a gremlin."

Jaina frowned. "If I get bitten by a gremlin because of this, I may have to not be nice for a while."

"Oh I don't like the sound of that," John frowned in return. "Unless it leads to more dancing." He seemed to be headed for that place where she inflicted the violence on him.

Friday got up, glad to have something to do. He stuck his head out and looked around. "Our lucky day." He followed John out, then walked over to one of the lockers. "Wonder if it's..." He opened it. "Yep, unlocked." He peered inside. "Cool, comic books." There was an edition of Really Strong Guy Who Could Fly and one about that mutant detective agency.

So there was a hallway beyond the library. This made a lot of sense.

Too much sense.

"So...where are all the monsters and crap that I was almost positive would attack us?"

"Like we're that lucky. I think they're trying to bore us to death here," John remarked.

There was a slight pause, and then Cal's eyes went slightly wide in terror.

"That's just vindictive."

"Uh huh," John nodded. "All the more reason to see what we can get into. Maybe there's a cafeteria or gym or something."

"I have been slacking on my workouts," Cal muttered, scratching his chin a little as he looked around.

"Right, we could go...workout." John thought that might not be as much fun as he was hoping for.

Yeah, Cal was feeling the exact same and it showed it the slight curl of his lip.

"Okay, seriously, if what you told me is true, I think this is the worst detention ever. And, of course, that's the detention I get." He threw up his hands, clearly surrendering himself to the Fates who loved to torture him so yet again.

"Let's see where this hallway goes. Not like we can get in more trouble, right?"

"Exactly," Cal agreed, nodding and starting to stroll down the hallway, sticking out his hand at his side to trail his fingers along some of the lockers.

"Well, this is slightly disappointing," Lois mumbled. She expected some fiery dragon to fight or something outside the library.

"Oh, come on," she muttered, slipping out of the library, "this isn't even exciting. Where's the death-seeking monsters when you want them?"

Once out in the hallway (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1809638.html?thread=112384742#t112384742), Friday had taken on the task of looking through the random lockers to see if there was anything interesting in there to pass the time.
