The Danger Shop was disappointingly set up like a classroom today. The Doctor was at the front, glasses on, feet propped up on the desk as he lounged in what looked to be a very comfortable chair. "Last workshop of the term. No running or jumping or bad reality television today. Today," the Doctor said, leaping up from his seat, "I want you to the one most important thing you've learned from your experiences during this course." He looked at Toby and Kevin ~~if they were there~~. "Yours should be 'getting naked in public doesn't solve everything'."

The classroom flickered out of existence for the briefest of seconds. The Doctor looked up with a frown. "A little glitch," he assured the class. "Nothing to worry abo-" The classroom disappeared again and left them in darkness. Anyone sitting on desks or chairs would have fallen on their backsides once the classroom and all its contents disappeared. "Okay, nobody panic. Probably a simple malfunction."

"Mummy?"

The Doctor turned on a light and the class found themselves scattered across the ground floor of an old house, probably one you'd find in 1940s London. Staying very still for a moment, the Doctor looked at each of the students within his line of sight. His expression wasn't that of someone who was worried, per se, so much as as someone who was very, very interested and a little suspicious of what was coming next. "That wasn't supposed to happen."

The voice of a boy outside the front door could be heard through the house again.

"Are you my mummy?"

First they were plunged into darkness, then they were in an old house. The furnishings were pretty standard for a World War II-era family house, except for the family. They were missing.

"Alright," the Doctor called, making sure the front door remained locked. "Listen up. Something is clearly wrong with the Danger Shop and it's not responding to any normal commands. What that means is that I can't guarantee that the safety algorithms are working either, so please, try not to get yourselves killed. We're in the middle of an air raid which means there are bombs dropping everywhere but I think I know where we can access the controls. That means not being here. Everyone stay together and whatever you do, don't let the people with the gas masks touch you. Do you understand me? Don't touch them. We'll go out the back. I'll go on ahead and make sure the path is clear. Give me two minutes, then follow the road all the way down to the hospital."

With that, he disappeared at a run out the back door, through the back yard and out the gate and out of sight. Yep. He just left the whole class to their own devices in the middle of a crisis.

"Don't let them touch you," Lee muttered, looking around. "How do we do that? Ask nicely?"

Toby was going to stand over here, behind Lee. He didn't stand up straight since Lee was so tiny. Very effective way to not be touched by the freaky gas mask people.

Lee chanced a look over his shoulder. "If you're wearing a gas mask and you're this close to me, you're getting punched."

"If they come over here, you should distract them!" Toby hissed, not wanting to draw much attention to himself.

"With what? My good looks?" Lee hissed back, not really thinking about what he was saying to the person behind him.

"Yes! Rip off your shirt if they get close!" Toby liked this idea a lot.

"Toby?" Lee asked, finally recognizing who it was that was behind him.

"Yes, Lee?" Toby moved closer in case Lee needed to tell him something.

"I was just checking to see if that was you," Lee said, almost laughing. "Can you see anything?"

Toby looked down at Lee's rear. "No."

"Well, I'd offer my shoulders but I don't think that would help," Lee said dryly.

"I'm good not seeing, thanks." Toby really wasn't interested in getting killed by freaky people today.

"..it'd be nice to know what happens if they touch us", Michael grumbled, glaring at the front door.

His hand was on the broom. The other? Held an orange-flavored apple.

He really had to get on that 'be more battle effective with your bloody magic' project.

Oh...brilliant.

Like Gwen hadn't already had a bad enough week?

"Don't let them touch me," Ella muttered to herself and anyone within earshot. "That will keep me safe, I'm sure."

She was having severe doubts about this class.

"What?" Jenny protested. "No! I already lived though this war once! This is not a vacation!"

"He has got to be shitting us," Dōjima grumbled, crossing her arms. "I've seen the horror films, like hell I'm going to trust the strange man telling me to leave the house."

Teyla watched the Doctor, once again unsure about how she felt about this class.

Rodney, still on his ass where he'd fallen when the room changed, whimpered once the Doctor left. "No safeties? What the hell?! This is not what I signed on for."

No touching the people in gas masks and no getting hit by bombs. Right.

She made a mental note not to get any vacationing tips or ideas from The Doctor.

Kevin didn't get it. He decided to just stand back and follow anyone who looked like they had a clue.

Alec eyed the front door, wondering what was so bad about people with gas masks - especially when they sounded so young.

"So basically, we're running like crazy again?" Marco asked no one in particular.
