Barney liked just talking when he felt like it rather than waiting for students to shut up and pay attention to him. This was probably because he always assumed they were paying attention to him. "How far man has come from cave dwellers who picked a prime steak by clubbing her on the head and dragging her home to leaving a voicemail requesting a hook up. It's all about language and communication. And sex, of course."

It was much nicer all the way around, Tink thought. Especially if you had very cute hair and didn't want it messed up by all that icky head-dragging. Didn't Tink have very nice hair? She personally thought her bun was very chic today. It was always stylish, but it had an extra zing right now. Had he noticed?

"Your hair is telling people how incredibly hot you are and that it would be their pleasure to buy you a drink and take you home for some horizontal R&R," Barney told her.

Oh, oh he was ever so charming! This happy wriggle of hers said that he was ever so charming. Did they see that, children? Communication! She didn't need a boring stupid voice to be eloquent and magnificent! He didn't need jingly bell noises in order to flirt! Flirting was universal!

"Excellent point, Ms. Bell. Which is why we're having you students attempt to make a date with someone here in class without speaking in any formalized language." Barney was rather proud of this idea.

Body language, students! Body language was essential when you were dealing with interdimensional beings! No one had time to memorize four thousand different languages, and if you met someone hot at a bar, you would need to know how to communicate. How to convey very basic ideas such as "so, you wanna get naked?" and "you're not a hooker, are you?" and "you don't have Space Herpes, right?"

"All necessary and valid questions. So pair off, hook up, but remember, no 'language!'" Barney loved him some air quotes.

Except the language of loooooove. Or drunken regrettable hook-ups. Close enough! Now go!

Gwen smiled back, shifting in a way that displayed her curves slightly better.

She hoped Jack had never done that.

Dean let his eyes wander a little over said curves, his grin widening slowly.

Gwen's smile turned a touch smirky and knowing as she leant forward a little, glad she was wearing a lower cut top today.

Dean's smile turned even more appreciative and he sauntered closer.

Gwen raised an eyebrow questioningly, looking Dean over.

Dean grinned at the attention, making sure to stand in such a way to best show off what he's got.

Gwen grinned very appreciatively, leaning forward just a little more.

Dean moved a little closer, letting his eyes dart down, but returning them to Gwen's gaze.

There was definite smirking action going on now, as well as fairly blatant ogling.

Dean's grin had turned mischievious as his gaze focused in on Gwen's lips.

Gwen raised her eyebrows challengingly, still with a good-natured smirk.

With a wide grin, Dean leaned in slowly, giving Gwen time to react.

A grin was a reaction, right?

Dean closed the remaining distance and kissed her lightly.

Gwen wasn't exactly shy about returning the kiss, although she tried not to be too familiar.
