How to Be the Best at What You Do - Thursday, Period 2

This week, the students in the How to Be the Best at What You Do workshop would not find a short, grumpy, hairy Canadian greeting them. Instead, they found a Hispanic girl in an SPD uniform, who was actually somewhat grumpy because you try wearing a wool uniform in June. Honestly. Still, she had a smile on her face as she said,

"Hey, guys. Professor--sorry. Logan couldn't make it today, so as the TA I'm in charge. Don't cause any trouble." She may have glared at Jamie. "So, today we're going to watch this movie Logan left for us. I'm told there's a song you should pay particular attention to."

Confession time: I have never seen Karate Kid. Try not to be as shocked by this as Logan's player was?

I only saw it for the first time last month, and the only reason I watched was because I was home sick.

I haven't seen the Karate Kid either, the closest I've got to seeing it has been watching a couple of clips from the movie.

I have, however, seen Kickboxing Academy. That is two hours of my life I will never get back.
