The class was gathered at the beach this time, rather than in the classroom; Lulu had ~~handwavily~~ instructed them to meet there, wearing what they would normally wear for beachwear. Lulu herself was dressed in a tankini, looking rather comfortable where she lay on her towel as the class approached.

"Good morning," she said, smiling warmly. "I rather thought we should take advantage of the wonderful weather we're getting right now, given the subject of today's class. We're discussing clothing that reveals -- bathing suits and underwear. They both serve very particular functions: swimwear is designed to preserve your modesty while you are swimming, and underwear offers a layer of protection between you and your clothing, and keeps things... well-contained as you move about. Some underwear is practical in design, often having very little in the way of decoration or adornment; other pieces of underwear can be colourful, or adorned with lace. This underwear is usually worn with the intention of having it seen by others -- either tauntingly, glimpses given through your regular clothing, or completely, with someone with whom you intend... intimate relations.

"But what," Lulu continued, "is enough? What is too much?" She stood, gracefully, her long body stretching beneath her. "An outfit like this is actually rather more covering than many modern bathing outfits. Some people, of course, wear even more, but a great many wear very little. Chad?" Lulu called. Chad came over, wearing... very little [NSFW-ish]. The orange swim-briefs left very little to the imagination, clinging tightly to Chad's body and showing off his... assets, just as much as Lulu's tankini showed off her... tracts of land. "While Chad is able to pull off this look, most people cannot. That's what we're going to discuss today: how much is too little? I'd like you to pair off, please, and compare the bathing suits that you are each wearing. Discuss how much they reveal -- how little they cover. The trade-off here is sexual appeal vs. protection from the sun; discuss if you each feel the trade-off has not gone too far."

Mac could certainly ignore the jacket. If she'd realised you could get away with that, she might've tried.

She also wasn't a big beachwear person. The closest you got from her was a t-shirt and boardshorts. She did have a bikini on underneath, but the chances of anyone getting to see it were pretty slim.

"Need a partner?" she asked hopefully.

Hinata had no idea if she was actually allowed to wear a jacket, but Lulu-sensei would have to pry it off her if it turned out that she couldn't actually wear it.

She looked up, took in the boardshorts and t-shirt, and smiled; relieved. "I d-do," Hinata admitted. "C-Care to be m-mine?"

"Would love to," Mac confirmed, shooting the other girl a smile.

"I'm Mac," she added. "Hi."

She bowed, it was automatic really. "Hyuuga Hinata," she said, then added, "Hinata's my f-first name."

Mac nodded, making a mental note to remember that. "Hinata. Cute name," she remarked.

"You're new?" Mac assumed she was, just because she hadn't seen her around before recently.

She blushed a bit. "T-Thank you."

Hinata looked rueful though, at that. "Y-Yes," she admitted, "just s-since the beginning of t-the term. Have y-you been here long, Mac-san?"

"It'll be three years in January," Mac replied.

She smiled, "So... yeah, long."

"I t-think that's the longest I've h-heard yet," Hinata admitted, with a smile. "I c-can't even i-imagine that."

"The very thought of me being here that long weirds me out, too," Mac admitted with a little chuckle.

"You join this class because of a love of beachwear?" she asked, smirking slightly. She was presuming the coat meant probably not.

Hinata tugged her coat down a little more, blushing.

"A-Ano, my Father p-picked my courses for me," she confessed. "I d-didn't even know I was c-coming here until the day of the w-welcoming picnic. W-What about you?"

A wry smile crept onto Mac's face. "I think it was a paperwork mix-up," she said.

"But, at least I'm enjoying it more than the other class mistake... Which is something."

Hinata perked up a bit at that. "Do p-paperwork mishaps happen o-often here?"

A pause.

"O-Other class mistake?"

"With me? They seem to happen a lot."

Mac pulled a face, "And the last time I talked about the other class mistake, radio picked up on it and there were threats... I think I should try and avoid that one happening again."

Hinata considered that. "T-Threats?"

"I think the phrase was 'a fate worse than Weasley'," she said.

"That's not a good thing."

"W-Who is 'Weasley'?" Hinata asked. "A s-student?" Possibly a former student?

"Yeah, Ron, a student. He's uh, a friend of mine," Mac told her with a little nod.

"S-So you don't want to end u-up worse than your f-friend?" Hinata wondered. "W-What's w-wrong with him?"

"Oh, he's fine," Mac said quickly. "Great, even."

"They just... aren't nice to him. At all. I have quite the self-preservation instinct."
