Flight and Flying; Period 5, Thursday 5/29
He was almost there. Perhaps after a few more days of digging through information on spacecraft, he'd be ready to bring them into the class. Even though the Danger Shop was designed to keep anyone from actually being hurt, he wanted to make sure that he knew what he was doing. Just in case.
In the meantime, he'd opted for something stealthy.
"The F-117 stealth jet." He didn't bother to give a greeting, just launched right into it. Strolling around the room and in between the several craft it housed as he spoke. "Known by several nicknames, the most common is simply Stealth. It's also designated as Nighthawk and the Wobblin' Goblin. But that one is kinda unfair, as it doesn't actually wobble. However, early test models *were* shaky at lower speeds, so the name stuck."
"This thing is a primary example of a craft, which by all rights, shouldn't fly. The design schematics are all wrong, and experts on aviation long argued that it would be much too unstable to remain airborne." He grinned a little, "Just goes to show you that there are plenty of things out there that are unstable but still capable of flight."
"The reason it looks so funny, and why it's called Stealth, is because it's practically invisible to radar. Over 99% of all radar signals simply cannot lock onto it, because of the design of the craft. You could say it's a very early predecessor of cloaking technology," he waggled his eyebrows slightly. "Their primary functions are to serve as a bomber or surveillance. Since it's undetectable, it makes for the perfect spy craft."
"For today's class, everyone will be flying solo. These babies are for a single pilot only. Your only assignment," he grinned wildly, "is just to have fun. Fly against each other if you want, or just cruise along through the clouds, your choice."
"Oh, and one other iddy-biddy thing. If any of y'all ever need me for anything, I have office hours on Tuesdays. Stop by at any time." Smiling, he spun his hat around backwards. "Now let's get flyin'!"
(plz wait for the OCD is up!)

Re: Fly like you wanna!
He did manage to ease up a bit. "Okay, I'm good. At least as long as I only need to go straight." His flight path looked like a slightly wavy line.
