Bond's class was back in a classroom at the school this week. He doubted they would overly mind though, considering the subject of the class.

"Chocolate," he began. "Is derived from the cacao bean. While orginally prepared as a drink, nowadays it is more familiar as a solid, the properties of which depends on several factors, starting with the percetnage of cocoa solids contained therein..."

He continued like this for a fairly long time, explaining the various ways to savour the smell, feel, and taste of chocolate in the many ways to consume it, both sweet and savoury, touching on its supposed properties as an aphrodisiac, and mentioning that chocolate and bacon went together better than you might think, concluding with "In recent years some chocolate companies have attempted to have the classification of chocolate changed to include products with hydrogenated vegetable oil in place of cocoa butter. Such people are wrong and should be stopped, violently if necessary."

Ella knew chocolate, and she enjoyed the lecture.

Hoshi was only half-listening. Her stomach was growling and she was eager to try out the chocolate for herself.

Cimorene worked with chocolate and was fond of the sweet, so she listened carefully.

Francine wasn't sure it was strictly legal for underaged girls to listen to hot British professors talk about chocolate for an hour. So she sort of only half listened, using the other 50% of her consciousness to plan their future wedding and the 5-layer chocolate waterfall cake she'd be baking for the reception.

Aravis had only learned about chocolate last year, and as a result she was, for once, paying absolutely rapt attention.

There was a truly stunning array of various kinds of chocolate laid out for the students to try and compare opinions on. Along with water, tea, and coffee to cleanse the palate.

Ella filled a plate with truffles and nibbled several of them delicately. She kept coming back to the caramel ones.

Hoshi discovered that she had a fondness for the Belgian chocolate, although the chocolate-covered macadamia nuts were also a favorite.

Cimorene had no interest of getting sick, so she was cutting tiny pieces off of a variety of different chocolates. She was gravitating towards the ones with fruit.

Adam sampled a bit of the chocolate, finding he liked the dark chocolates the best. Perhaps he'd found a new favorite.

Naomi got a few samples to try and found that she liked the swiss chocolate the best.

Aravis was, very likely, going to be quite sick later given how much chocolate she was trying to consume in a single sitting.

It was neither ladylike nor something she really cared about amending.

He'll probably even tell you his suppliers if you ask nicely.

No guarantees she'll be in any fit state to reply though.

She was not, unless you were interested in hearing about chocolate or in bribing her with some.

My high school was named after ~~the founder of~~ a chocolate company.

Oh wow.

... now I'm craving chocolate.
