Good evening from the Fandom High auditorium. I'm CJ Cregg and I'll be moderating the Student Council debates.

Our Format tonight will be as follows:
Students and teachers alike will ask questions of the candidates. [Please submit your questions to the moderator via the appropriate thread] Each candidate
will respond to the question in turn, and I will call on each for their response.

After each candidate has gone, any one may request a further rebuttal to address
a point made by an opponent, the granting of which is at my discretion. The press will have full access and are also encouraged to
contribute questions.

In the case of no opponent, the same format will
apply, although the rebuttals will be unnecessary for obvious reasons.

Angela can think of many places she would rather be than the debates. Having her teeth cleaned, for example, or sitting through the math portion of the SATs.

But she figures she should be there to support Marty, Rory and Phoebe.

She takes a seat in the back of the auditorium and carefully avoids eye contact with any of the JA crowd.

Beka notices Angela and mentally winces. Nevertheless, she's proud of herself. Angela may not choose to forgive her, but Beka will protect her even more fiercely for it.

*Marty makes eye contact with Angela from the podium as he sits around and waits for another question. He wiggles his eyebrows and rolls his eyes at her.*

Angela smiles and lifts her hand in half a wave.

"Good luck," she mouths.

Marty winks at her and tries not to look bored.

[OOC: ZZZzzzzz. I was hoping for something a little more dramatic here.]

((LOL! Like what? And seriously? I tried to think of snarky questions, but I was so ZZzzzzZZZzzz over this whole thing that I couldn't muster the strength to have George leave the Common Room couch with her bottle of vodka. ;)))

[OOC: How about a snarky question about the homecoming theme? Something like why are we forced to go to such a lame theme.]

Rory catches Angela's eye from the podium, and rolls her eyes, nodding her head exasperatedly towards Professor Cregg.

[ooc: I think the squid ate CJ's mun...]

Angela makes a sympathetic face. "Almost done," she mouths.

[OOC: Snerk. Or should I start a search and rescue mission?]

She sticks out her tongue in response, and grins.

[ooc: Hopefully she'll turn up. I'm kind of glad - I have to give a speech for a class tomorrow, and the absence of the debate means that I'm done writing it much sooner than I'd anticipated.]
