Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather was lovely thanks to the island's new location, and even though it had been less than a week, there was no sign anywhere on the school lawn that part of the land had sunk and collapsed during graduation.

That didn't stop everyone from setting things up away from where the graduates had been seated, of course.

There were tables and chairs and plenty of food and drinks, along with nametags, and three signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, one listing rooms and roommates for the new students, and one listing the cabin assignments.

[WAIT FOR THE OCD PLEASE. OCD IS UP. This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible.]

Even Barney would have to agree with that logic. "Right. So tell me what's the last thing that happened at home - besides you boning Lily before you left."

"Yeah, I totally did that a lot," he said, chuckling. "We just got back from our honeymoon--thank you for that, by the way. Robin's on vacation, Ted's on his way to growing a Grizzly Adams beard and you...you're doing whatever it is you do."

His mind was still kind of reeling about the fact that he was talking to an alternate universe Barney. He was slightly disappointed in the fact that it was just like talking to the real Barney.

Barney looked thoughtful. "So you're from the past. Yeah, that doesn't help me at all. Go find a Marshall from the future and tell him to bring back something useful like a sports almanac."

"Okay, one? Future me would never do that," he said. Future Marshall was totally responsible. "And two? I'm not some sort of time traveler. Well, I am, I guess but it was totally by accident. If could do that don't you think I'd be somewhere cooler?"

"Cooler? No. You'd be in Loch Ness trying to get pictures," Barney replied. "We're in Greece, by the way. Incredible women here, they're incr-edible! Get it, edible?"

He suddenly snapped his fingers, pointing at Marshall with an idea. "Hey! You could be my new wingman!" What with Biff being on vacation and all, Barney would need someone.

"Taking pictures at Loch Ness is cooler than being in Virginia or Greece," Marshall pointed out. "And I can't be your wingman. I'm married."

"Details," Barney scoffed. "This isn't about you being married, this is about you helping me get laid. Be a bro!"

Marshall sighed. "Yeah, okay, I guess I can do that. But I'm not about to learn a whole lot of Greek just to help you get laid."

He would be willing to learn a few phrases though. How hard could it be to say "Haaaaaaaave you met Barney?" in Greek?
