Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather was lovely thanks to the island's new location, and even though it had been less than a week, there was no sign anywhere on the school lawn that part of the land had sunk and collapsed during graduation.

That didn't stop everyone from setting things up away from where the graduates had been seated, of course.

There were tables and chairs and plenty of food and drinks, along with nametags, and three signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, one listing rooms and roommates for the new students, and one listing the cabin assignments.

[WAIT FOR THE OCD PLEASE. OCD IS UP. This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible.]

"Weeell." There was the Doctor's lip sticking out again as he pondered his words. "Harriet Jones. She used to be Prime Minister of Great Britain, didn't she? Nasty business on her way out, if I remember correctly."

"Depends on your reality, I suppose," she said easily, amused at the facial contortions. "This reality? Not so much."

"Different realities? Oh." The Doctor frowned. "Oh, messy business. Travel between isn't supposed to exist." He shrugged. "I keep running into things that aren't supposed to exist. So this Jones, she's all above board then?"

"Much as anyone here is," Aly said with a shrug. "What are you a doctor of?" Be interesting if it were the same response as before.

"Ohhh," the Doctor replied, trying to drag out the time while he thought of a suitable response. "Everything, really. What do you teach?" He was quick to change the subject, figuring he wasn't going to get any information on Harriet Jones here.
