Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather was lovely thanks to the island's new location, and even though it had been less than a week, there was no sign anywhere on the school lawn that part of the land had sunk and collapsed during graduation.

That didn't stop everyone from setting things up away from where the graduates had been seated, of course.

There were tables and chairs and plenty of food and drinks, along with nametags, and three signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, one listing rooms and roommates for the new students, and one listing the cabin assignments.

[WAIT FOR THE OCD PLEASE. OCD IS UP. This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible.]

Chris smiled. "I'm in room 306. But I think we're heading out to the cabins soon."

He pulled out his wallet and found an old receipt. There was a pen on a nearby table and Chris grabbed it and scribbled down his cell phone number. "You can call me anytime," he said.

Cabins, right. Summer camp. "I'm in 405." He took the number. "Thanks."

"You want me to help you get your things to your room?" Chris offered.

"No, thanks," Alex said. "I appreciate it, but I don't have a lot. I need to acquire some civilian clothes at some point, though, do you know where I can do that?"

"There are a few stores in town that sell clothes," Chris said. "Try Turtle & Canary first. There's also Pixie Dust, but I think that's more high fashion stuff."

Somehow Alex didn't strike him as a high fashion kind of dude.

Alex was definitely not a high fashion kind of dude. "Turtle and Canary, then Pixie Dust. Okay, thanks, I'll remember that."

"And if all else fails, I'm sure there are stores on the mainland, though I'm not sure what kind of clothes are common in Greece," Chris said.
