World Mythology - Monday, April 14th - 2nd Period

Ghanima was not wearing her normal formal Imperial clothing.  Instead of her usual elaborate gown and hat, she was dressed in her Fremen robes, hair pulled back into a simple ponytail.  The classroom was also transformed, with large pillows taking the place of desks and chairs.

"Today, we're going to discuss what happens when myth becomes reality," she said, gesturing for the students to take seats on the pillows heaped around the room.  "As some of you may know, myth does not always stay detached from our day-to-day lives.  On occasion, myth becomes fact, fiction turns reality, and we are left with the aftermath of our gods and heroes."

"This is not as theoretical as you think.  In Fandom alone, anything is possible, and many of us are from worlds where that it has already happened at least once," Ghanima said.  "So, what do we do when faced with such an event?  How do we reconcile the merge of two previously incompatible worlds?"

[OOC: Wait for the OCD is up and ready for action!!!  Have fun!]

Savannah was not looking at anyone as she sat and took notes.

Hoshi still had her doubts about myth becoming reality. The moon wasn't made of cheese and there no little green men on Mars, and there was proof of that at home.

Michael had a tiny sheep on his shoulder. But he was listening.

Dawn might have been a little tense due to the lecture topic, her past experiences with gods not having gone spectacularly well.

Not that it stopped her from taking notes. Or attempting to take notes, anyway--several small sheep kept trying to take their mid-morning nap on her notebook.

Naminé listened carefully, resisting the urge to doodle. Lady Ghanima would think she wasn't listening, if she did. Really she was thinking again about how much mythology and reality blurred in her own universe, and that always made her fingers itch.
