The Art of Cool: Class 13, Period 2 (Friday, April 11)

Today, class, today was a very special treat! And one that was completely unrelated to Tink having an enormous, massive hangover. Completely!

There was something to be said for not keeping a stash of booze in the office. "Meaning you people are watching a movie!" Barney exclaimed, grinning happily. He wasn't hungover. He just got others drunk.

Yes! A very important story about a powerful, wonderful, rich woman and the ungrateful whiny bitch employee who couldn't handle simple tasks and thought she was too good for the job and wrote a "fictional" book sobbing about how hard her life was and she was never, ever going to be as awesome as Anna Wintour. Stupid girl.

"She didn't know how good she had it," Barney agreed. Tink was a slave driver to a much higher degree than that Wintour chick. But also, hotter. If not crazier. "Real journalist, you'd think she was doing the fluff crap Robin did on the nightly news back in New York. Have I told you about that Tink? True story, I paid her to say nipple on air and also to dance but she fell in horse crap instead. It was Awesome!"

Oooooh, that meant it was story time! Not for the boring students, for herself and Barney in the back of the room during any bits of the movie that Meryl Streep was not being fantastic. So! Children! Enjoy this wonderful movie, The Diva Wore Gucci, and afterwards have a riveting class discussion about how being the editor of a fashion magazine is hard and having snippy employees who can't follow directions makes it even harder. Didn't that sound like fun?

"Weasley," Barney called out. "Help out grandpa and monitor the noise, hmm?" There was a reason they had a TA: Torture.

Romeo stayed at Caritas a little too late last night, so he was treating the movie as naptime. Or at least rest-your-head-on-the-desk-and-close-your-eyes time.

Done pestering her friends at home, Dōjima turned her attention to Romeo. If he's awake, he might notice that his phone has a new text message.

He was awake enough to notice the little jingling noise his phone made when it got a message, so he dropped a hand into his bag and fished for it., then flipped the screen open to see who was messaging him.

It was definately a message from Dōjima, and the extremely innocent expression on her face as she watched the movie was not deserved. At all.
withoutverona: (romeo romeo!)

If it wasn't from Dōjima, someone else was having much ... friendlier thoughts about him than Romeo knew. Reading the message, he turned red and had to move his face back to his desk for a moment to recover, then sat up, shot the "innocent" girl a fleeting, unguarded grin, and tapped back a message for her.

He was also failing at innocent, apparently.

Dōjima winked at him before typing out a new message.

Thought that might wake you up. Paintball wear you out?

And Ino + Triela are good. Not like we lost to Sokka, Romeo texted. I'm awake now.

She stuck her tongue out quickly before responding. Yup, we lost respectably. Red got pink paint dumped on him by my partner. We = win..

Romeo's first response was some half-swallowed laughter and a glance at Reno to see if there was any pink paint still on him. There wasn't any Romeo could see, though the shirt was amusing.

And looking at Reno reminded him of something else.

Did he tell you he had a birthday? Radio said.

NO. She scowled slightly as she punched the buttons on her phone. Typical.

Definitely no more tatoos. I don't need to see his ass ever again, Romeo texted back.

Until graduation. At which point, we all flee before his boss kills us, she sent, giggling. I'm so not letting him out of the dare.
