Principal Connor? A question.

Would it be too early in the semester to start a Gun Club? Some of us, as you know, are licensed weapons holders, and while we would definitely abide by school rules regarding bringing our weapons on campus, the opportunity to compare experiences would be valuable. It was suggested that you yourself would be a *perfect* sponsor for this club.

Also, while I intended to sign up for P.E. classes, I now find my schedule fairly full, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate, since no set roster for phys ed has been made available. Is there any chance of a martial arts club forming here, too? I'm still working on my belts in karate and judo, and I'd like to find someone to practice with.

Thank you for your time.

M. Parker

A Gun Club. I find that I'm liking this school more and more every day. We'll all be in your debt, Miss Parker.

But perhaps we could save the squabbling and name-calling until after the club has been officially sanctioned? Just to maintain an appearance of maturity and cooperation, you understand.

(Yeah, and I'm hoping that those of us without mutant powers and magic will have *some* means of defending ourselves....)

*dryly* Don't remind me. How the hell did I get stuck at this place again?

You aren't the only one. I was hoping for something a little -less- rife with the wacky powers people this school around.

Any chance there's some kind of beginners course in this martial arts thing? I'm tired of this shoved in lockers crap.

"People are shoving you in lockers already?" asks Janet sympathetically. "That's disturbing. And as far as I know, this club is for anyone interested at any level."

[OOC: Doug! I love Doug! And you're not going with the whole annoying (to me) Douglock back-from-the-dead-sorta scenario! Yay!]

Doug shook his head. "Not yet. But, you know. Skinny, overly smart. I've seen the inside of way too many lockers for my tastes."

[Oh GOD, Douglock is ... bleh. blehblehBLEH. And Ultimate Doug really exists. 72 day streak on Jeopardy and all.]

I see we're in the same boat. One of my floor neighbors seems to be able to set things on fire at his whim. I don't know how useful a gun will be against him, but it cannot hurt to be prepared.

Pyrokinesis? That's a fascinating trait, but I'd rather study it from a distance. Please tell me you're not on the third floor dorms with me.

Second floor. You're relatively safe on the third floor. It's that musician with delusions of grandeur on the fourth floor to be wary of. Perhaps you've heard him "practicing" in the mornings...
