There was a television screen at the front of the classroom today; Lulu was fiddling with it a bit, setting it up. "Today," she said, "we're watching a TV episode, the first episode of the series Raising Lilacs. Sorry. The recipes that you would have had today will be in the compilation you'll be getting at the end of the term."

[Sorry for lame class, but something's come up and I'm going to be around today. If you need to speak to Lulu, I'll pick up the pings either tomorrow, or when I get back late tonight. OCD is up!]

Liir took his book, the one the Queen had given him, and sat where a bit of light through the windows could come through. And he read, doing his best to ignore the screen.

It didn't creep him out like a curved screen, but he didn't particularly like television or movies and figured she wouldn't mind.
