Fandom High School Host Club, Sunday Afternoon

If there was anything special about this particular day, Reno certainly didn't have any idea as he busied himself in the music room, setting up his newest acquisitions.

A poker table had taken the place of the desk that had been in the Barney Corner, there was a dartboard hanging on the wall, and, where the tables for the hosts were normally situated, Reno had set up a big, shiny, brand new pool table.

If the hosts wanted their old furniture back, it was all shuffled up against a wall. They were more than welcome to drag their chairs and desks back if they so desired.

Just meant they were going to have to move the liquid-that-was-quite-possibly-beer-but-ssh off of them first, is all.

Reno had even handwavily put signs up around the campus.

The door was open!

Romeo had promised to help set up the pool table, so he stopped by the club.

And beamed at Reno when he saw it was already stable. Ah, freedom from manual labor.

"May I still have first game?" he asked.

Romeo caught the cue one-handed and ground the tip into chalk. "You are that eager to be beaten?" he smirked. "I'm glad I could oblige by being here."

"I always strive for kindness." Nodding, Romeo lined up his cue, rolled the balls around a few times for luck, and hit the cue ball to break the alignment.

One, on a rebound, went into a pocket; the others danced and scattered over the table. "Not a bad beginning."

[OOC: Allow for vast handwaviness here as I suck at pool.]

"Solids work," Romeo shrugged; if he'd been stripes, those would have worked too.

He lined up his cue again, carefully. "I believe the two is mine on this shot," he said, but the balls disagreed, and the two slammed off the wall inches from the pocket. Romeo winced and went to mark his scratch. "Your move."

Sora poked his head into the room with a smile. "Did you get everything delivered okay?"

Sora stuck his tongue out back at Reno and then saluted with a grin. "Glad to be of service!"

Andrew, droid baby in his arms, stepped over to Reno.

"Hey," he said simply.

He shrugged. "I could keep him another day," he offered. He was pretty fond of the little thing.

"I mean, if we met up later tomorrow, that would split the time between us pretty evenly. As it, I feel like you would be taking on an unfair amount of the child rearing."

"Great," Andrew said with a smile. "So maybe I'll look for you later tomorrow, or, if I don't find you then, on Tuesday."

He glanced around. "I hope you don't mind me leaving. I don't know that this is the best environment for little Drell."

"I'll do my best," he said, turning to leave.

"Thanks," he added. He really hoped Reno wasn't too upset with his greediness.

Sokka leaned over the table, curiously. "...So, you just hit the balls into the holes with the sticks? Doesn't seem too hard."

"Won't know until I try, right?"

Sokka grabbed a cue and started trying to figure out how to hold it. With a sly grin, he asked, "That last one's in the OFFICIAL rules, is it?"
