We speak French. In Louisiana, in the United States, there are also some people who speak French as their first language; these are Cajuns. I would happily provide you with examples of the differences between our dialects, but they are largely in the swear words, and that is next week's class. French is also spoken in parts of Africa and, well, anywhere France previously had a colony." Jean-Paul went on to lecture on the differences in culture in these places.

"My question for you today is: given the choice between poutine, gumbo, and a croque-monsieur, which would you choose and why?"

Johnny's thought process was a tad preoccupied today. Which meant he wasn't paying a whole lot of attention.

Chad's note were actually preoccupied, too, which didn't happen often, but definitely when it counted.

Okay, not anywhere. It wasn't like she'd rather be back in 1912 or anything. But okay, she'd rather be locked in her room all safe. There. That worked.
