Karal had received a ~~handwavy~~ voicemail from the Dean of Students, telling him that he was to go and set up a movie for two classes today.

It took him longer that it should have, but it was the first time he'd ever used a DVD player. Eventually, he got it, and the movie The Ump was ready to be watched.

He wrote a message on the board that said--

The Dean says that these classes are superseded by what is happening on the island. She has said to either watch the movie, or use the time productively.

Teyla was doing more plotting than watching at the moment.

Sky took several minutes to consider his options after signing in and finding that he was to be watching the same movie twice in a row. He knew he still had to take his midterm for Gods class... Finally, he decided to sneak out and do that, then return for Tactics and apologize profusely to Dean Jones at some point. She HAD said to at least use the time productively. The added bonus of coming to Tactics meant that he would see if Bridge and Z were alright...

Chris buried his head in a book the whole time.

But good luck getting him to talk. He was freaking out about Lana and his guilt complex was in full swing, so it was total research mode.

Like Jen was going to watch a movie when she could be out doing something about these angels? No, she was plotting.

Granted, this plot pretty much consisted of her going out solo to confront some of the statues, and contemplating potential locations for a tactical strike.

Okay, it mostly consisted of her planning to make a break for it right after class and hunt down an angel or two. She was kind of stupid that way sometimes.

Sky could see that Bridge hadn't shown up, and his mind immediately went to the angel statues, wondering if Bridge, too, had been sent back in time. He could barely concentrate now, his hands shaking, filled with dread and worrying about Bridge and Troy... and growing rage. He was going to stop by the library after class to see if Bridge was there, just in case, even though he knew it was equally unlike him to get lost in something so badly he'd miss class- then call him to see if he was perhaps sick, or had to go off island, or...

Then, he was going to fetch his laser blaster, or anything else he could use as a weapon, and pwn some angel statues. Oh, if he only had any idea what was waiting for him back at his room... (http://oncourtandstage.livejournal.com/9676.html)

Sky will accept whatever IC consequences come from ditching class. ;x I think he's the only student who has Tactics and Conflict Management back-to-back, so he'd just be watching the same movie twice anyway.

Sokka has ditched Tactics to spend time in the library.
