Criminal Justice (As Taught By A Criminal) - Period 3 - Monday 03/10

It had been quite a while into class and Deadpool hadn’t shown up yet. Even though he was a little nervous about it, as TA, Sora took it upon himself to teach the class in Deadpool’s place.

It’s what he’d want him to do, right?

Going over to his desk Sora rummaged through the papers there trying to find some sort of lesson plan or hand out or something for them to do!

There was lots of papers just doodled with things that Sora didn’t want to think too much about before he finally came across the right thing.

“ALRIGHT!” He shouted more loudly than he meant to. “Uh, I mean ao uh for class today Deadpool wanted us to uhmm.” Sora paused to look through the papers and hand outs really quick.

“Interrogations and enhanced interrogation techniques. What the heck’re those?” He paused again and read through them all paying more attention to detail. “Oh man!” Sora groaned, his face going red.

“So yah, um here are some hand outs about the different kind of interrogation.” He said passing out the first two. “Deadpool wanted us to pair up with each other and practice uhm what’s in the first two hand outs, and then I really think the third one is just for our reference. He left explicit notes that no one was supposed to do anything on the third hand out, okay? He’s really serious about that!”

Sora was such a horrible liar.

[Wait for ocd plz]

"So, Lana, what's your deepest, darkest secret?" John asked, getting a pencil ready.

Lana pointed to the handout about staying silent and mimed zipping her lips.

"Well that makes it difficult," John said thoughtfully. "Okay, how about we start with something simple. How do you take your coffee?"

Re: Interrogation!

"Yes and terribly boring," Lana agreed. "I like my coffee light and sweet."

"Light and sweet," he made a note on his handout. "Now, what about tea? Lemon? Milk?"

"Black tea, cream and sugar. Herbal tea, honey and lemon," she said. "But you'll never get me to tell you how I like my brownies!"

"And we were doing so well with the rapport," John said. "How about your favorite cookie? Much less threatening than a brownie."

"Hmmm..." Lana said. "I have to think about that." She wrinkled her nose in thought.

"Just baked Nestle's chocolate chip cookies. You know, when they're still all soft and gooey? I love those."

"Like when you could almost burn your tongue on the melting chocolate chips?"

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes!" Lana said excitedly. "Like two more seconds after that so you don't actually burn your tongue, and oh... Now I'm going to want to go bake some. Thanks a lot."

"Hey, there's nothing wrong with baking," John told her seriously. "Is there some hidden reason you shouldn't bake?"

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm sorry," Lana said sorrowfully. "I must refuse to answer on the grounds that it might incriminate me. Of course, it might not incriminate me. This whole thing could be a ruse."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
"Tricky," John cocked an eyebrow. "Something tells me your baking is delightful. In fact, I think cheer cookies would back up that something. Which means the ruse is up."

"Cheer cookies? Ruse?" Lana put on her best innocent expression. "I think you must have me confused with someone else like Veronica Mars, sorry."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
"You don't make cheer cookies?" John asked, shaking his head sadly. "That's just disappointing."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
"I may or may not make cheer cookies," Lana corrected, "I am admitting to nothing."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
"Do you cheer?" he asked. "Or is that another ruse?"

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Now, it would be foolish of me to deny cheering," Lana said, not admitting it either.

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
"Considering I'm on the squad with you," John chuckled. "Or am I?"

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
"I am afraid I can neither confirm nor deny whether I am on the squad with you," Lana said ruefully. "In fact, I can neither confirm nor deny whether you are even the person you claim to be. There are at least 2 of you, you know? Who's to say this isn't all some crazy scheme?"

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
John had not considered that aspect. "It is a crazy scheme. Regardless of which Sheppard I am, I'm one of me, which means you know I'm completely trustworthy."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
"If I was truthful with whichever you you are when I said I trusted him. or you. Wow, this is confusing."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
"That's the problem with having multiples," John nodded.

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
Lana nodded. "Yeah..."

Re: Interrogation!

[identity profile] missed-the-gate.livejournal.com 2008-03-11 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
"I guess I failed at interrogation," John said. "At least it was entertaining."
