Speaking in Tongues [7.03]

Karal smiled at everyone, hoping no one noticed the bunny prints on the library floor.

"I'm not sure if this will work, but I made lots of little paper squares," Karal put a box on the table, and some large squares of cardboard, with grids marked on them, "with the letters of the languages we've been learning. I thought we could get into pairs, or groups, and play a multi-language version of the game of scrabble."

Adah gave a slow, careful nod, paying attention to both that she didn't pull her neck again and to keep her eyes lingering more than would normally be deemed comfortable.

And then privately hoped that Bob didn't get to it more than she had a chance to, because she wasn't exactly sure how she'd explain returning the book all nibbled on by a bunny.

He looked back, meeting her gaze easily.

It really would take more than a teenage girl to intimidate him. Well... ones named River were a different case for many reasons.
