Fandom Invasions, Class #8 (Thursday, period 4)
When the class came into the Danger Shop, they found themselves in the centre of what looked like a well appointed room in a mansion.
"Welcome to Efferton Manor," John greeted them. "You've all been kidnapped. By trolls. The troll women want to use you -- at least those of the male persuasion -- as sex slaves. Having seen -- and smelled -- a male troll up close, I can't say I really blame them for looking elsewhere." He looked around the room, eyeing some of the male students a little more closely than others. "Just to make it absolutely clear, this is a bad thing.
"Your assignment today is to escape. You can use whatever is at your disposal - wiles, sneakiness, force if you think that will work. One thing I will give you for free -- you want to hurt a troll -- especially a male? You want to use iron."
John smiled at them. "Shall we begin?"

Re: Deal with the female troll
"It's not a human disease. You get it from Animals and Witches," and the upper case letters there were quite crisp.
"You start remembering things that never happened to you. Fever dreams fill your mind as you sleep until you can hardly get a wink of rest. Then you turn green," he said, "and following that, spotted blue. Eventually, you're sprouting oranges and everyone you touch turns into a fluffy orange rabbit if they don't catch the disease them self."
Perhaps she'd think he was mad.
"It's dreadful."

He did. It was in his bag. He pulled it out and gave it a sniff before pulling away.
Orange and cumin. He tossed it her way.
"Smell it yourself. It doesn't smell like any kind of normal orange, now, does it?"
Andrew, awoken by the talking, chose that moment to pop his head out of the little pocket on the strap of his bag, right next to Liir's heart.
Liir looked genuinely distressed.
"This used to be my boyfriend," he said forlornly.

And remained out of reach.
"I seriously doubt it," he said. "As I've slept with girls and boys." He was talking about his
half-siblingsfriends from Kiamo Ko, completely unaware of the implications. "It didn't change matters."Which reminded him, oddly enough.
"I don't suppose you like chocolate, do you?"

"Why is it that you kidnap people, incidentally?"

He snorted.
"I'd be much more suited to being your servant. Cooking, cleaning, that sort of thing. I'd say I have references, but my previous employer is dead."
Re: Deal with the female troll
Re: Deal with the female troll
"It's not done to sleep with the servants. After all, how do you think your breeding stock got so uncivilized? You have to maintain society appropriately, after all."

Re: Deal with the female troll
It seemed likely to work so while it was utter nonsense, as far as he considered it, he'd go with it.
"Society weeds out the proper from the improper. Someone who can't behave, according to societies laws, will be shunned and pushed aside. They won't find a mate, and so their breeding stock will be left behind. Eventually, you're left with the creme of the crop, those who behave themselves."
After all, it was the oldest rule of Oz.

Beat.
"You wouldn't happen to have a window nearby, would you?"
