Fandom High School Host Club - Sunday, February 24 - Music Room: Late Afternoon

Today, Tamaki had set a large sign outside the music room doors:

"Fandom High School Host Club Today! Enter And Be Entertained!"

The sign had a large arrow pointing towards the open room, in which he had meticulously set up the small tables, chairs and various decorations amongst the instruments. There was a lavishly decorated table for each Host, complete with frilly table cloth, vase of roses and fine china tea set.

Tamaki himself was also prettied up for the occasion. He'd made sure to pay extra attention to his hair and was dressed in his finely pressed Ouran Academy school uniform, standing at the doors and waiting to greet anyone who came by. ~~There may also have been shoujo sparkles and roses in the background behind him as he stood trying to look lovely for visitors.~~ The Host Club was open for business!

Correction: At least three, one of whom was staring at the screen with a broken brain and drinking way more scotch than he could handle.

"Careful with that, Boom. I'm not carryin' you back to the dorms again." Reno took a casual sip of scotch, not taking his eyes off the screen for an instant.

"Yeah, okay," Sokka sighed happily. "This... this is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! It's the most beautiful thing EVER!!!"

"It's up there," Reno agreed. "Good trade. Gonna have to rip this to my laptop when we're done watchin' it."

It was beautiful, dammit.

Sokka was fixated on the screen. "The what now? ...Yeah. Definitely. But not in public."

"Have some more scotch, Boom."

Because making Sokka ridiculously drunk was just fun.

"That's NOT my name," Sokka pointed out. Still, it was better than 'Ponytail'. "And I don't want to get TOO drunk. Gotta be able to appreciate the ladies."

Boom was a good name for Sokka. Boom was the last sound he made before passing out at the bar on Friday. And Reno was very fond of nicknames.

"Looks like you're doin' just fine appreciatin' them," he decided.

Then there was a fourth with his head tilted to the side. "I think I understand the need for booze with this."

Reno shrugged and offered some scotch over.

"Not a fan? Sit down for a bit an' watch. Might end up with a whole new appreciation for t&a, yo."

Lucas accepted the drink and pulled up a chair. "No, I think I could definitely be a fan... This sure beats sitting at a table with my book."

"Don't it, though?" Reno nodded and had himself some more scotch. Mmm. "Easy enough to dart over to hang out with real ladies in the flesh if any show up, too. Nice and convenient."

Oooh, this was a good part.

"Wow." Lucas was kind of impressed by that part. "I really like this club."

"Best club ever," Reno agreed. It totally was.

Sokka nodded. "Yeaaaaah."

Taking his eyes off the screen for a moment -- JUST a moment, he blinked at the newcomer. "Oh, hey. Hi! Lucas, right? I don't think we've ever actually spoken before. LOVE the work you're doing with Meredith -- keep it up!" Sokka grinned and gave him a thumbs-up.

"That guy's name is Meredith?" Lucas couldn't help the laughter. "I'll be sure not to disappoint you with a capped pen again."

"He claims it's Rodney," Sokka replied. "But I've seen his, uh, identity-card-thing. Rodney's his MIDDLE name." He grinned. "He's my roomie, and he's a little... Uh. Tightly wound."

"Yeah, I thought maybe he was just special needs with all the glaring and growling I'd been hearing for a few weeks," Lucas replied. "At least until he went all crazy with the ranting. I'll be sure to call him Meredith from now on."

Sokka grinned. "He HAAATES it. HATES it."

Make that a fifth. Person, really, though by this time, a bottle wouldn't be inappropriate. Jack was blinking. A lot. "They can do that?"

"Looks like!" Sokka told him. "And it's BEAUTIFUL."

"I'll say." His head tilted. "I want a copy of this."

"Buy your own damned DVD," Barney glared from where he was smoking his cigar and drinking his scotch happily. "I'm no video pirate."

"...where?"

Nevermind that Jack didn't know what the hell a Deevy Dee was.

Barney stared. "You're going to fail my class, aren't you? No, don't answer that question, it was rhetorical."

He started speaking more slowly. "Movie. stores. sell. porn." He hoped that was clear. He wished Tink was there.
