Study Hall -- Tuesday, October 4th

Welcome to the study hall for Tuesday. If anybody's looking for me, the gremlins are on an upswing today, so I'll be prowling around with a cricket bat and a CD player with Music To Bash Things With.

A few announcements:

-- Please go here to participate in the roll call of student clubs so that we can make sure that all student clubs are accounted for.

-- The student body is reminded that any student going to Homecoming will need to purchase tickets. Homecoming elections will be held this Friday, and Homecoming is this upcoming weekend. Also, in student council news, the Student Council Election Debates will be held Wednesday night, with the election itself taking place on Monday.

-- In other news, five teaching positions will be listed later on today for your perusal. We are in need of new teachers, so please check that out when the post is made.

-- For some fucking reason, Locker 327 has been in reverse all morning long and has been randomly spewing strange things into the halls. Someone should be repairing it later in the week, but until then, be aware of the dangers and be on guard accordingly.

-- In related news, there's a mime loose on campus. And no, you're not allowed to kill it. You are, however, allowed to mock and point.

Beka reaches out from next to Callisto, palm up and open. She won't touch Rogue before she's acknowledged her because it's always a bad idea to startle people, even friends. "Hey," she says softly. "How are you?"

Rogue smiles at Beka. "I'm doin' surprisin'ly well. The hangover yesterday was hellish, though."

"OMG, yes. I wasn't as bad as you guys - nothing is worse than serial slipstream jumps. But I still wanted to die. Especially when poor Shep woke up in my bed..." She laughs.

Rogue laughs along. "What did he say when he regained consiousness? I can only imagine that conversation..."

"He was in a panic. The thing on his forehead about him and me... Rogue..." Beka does a very rare thing and giggles. "He about lost it. He didn't know whether to be pissed he hadn't gotten the full benefit of finally having sex with me, furious that I'd taken advantage of him, disgusted, or just be nice and not hurt my feelings. It was awesome.

"The condom-lube on his nose really creeped him out, too. I had to tell him there was no kink involved." She snickers.







(OOC: It's still ongoing. We had to slow-play it, along with another critical conversation that will determine the outcome. But it looks like Shep and Beka are both going to be eating crow. *snicker*)

"Oh that's GREAT. I wish I'd been there to see it." Rogue snickers. "Poor baby. At least he missed the stripping. Or he's probably more annoyed me missed the stripping."

Beka looks vaguely embarrassed. "He didn't miss much. All I had on when we woke was a sports jersey. All. And I was pretty well wrapped around him."

Rogue's eyebrows shoot up. "Oh really? Are you sure you didn't...you know." Shaking her head at her own shyness, she repeats, "You sure you didn't have sex with him?

"Of course, I woke up on the floor next to Phoebe's bed, and I know you guys left me in MY bed, so anything's possible when drunk." She looks a little embarrassed. "The shirt I had on all day? I think it was one of Pheeb's boy's."

She shakes her head minutely. "We didn't. No mess. And I wasn't bruised or anything. Drunk-sex tends to be sloppy.

"Phoebe's boy...Cole, right?"

"Actually, I don't know." She shrugs. "He came by the room yesterday and left her a note, but I heard rumors they broke up badly just before she left for a week." Rogue looks sheepish. "I'm a bad roommate."

"I disagree. A good roommate only pokes her nose in when it's wanted." She wonders if Rogue would want to move into town with them, but doesn't want to break up anything in progress. "We're moving, me, Callisto, and Illyana, as soon as we can find a place...to get us some breathing space."

"Yeah I suppose. She just doesn't seem too happy lately, and I feel bad that I don't know why." Rogue shrugs.

"Where are you movin' to? So I can come visit, you know," she adds a little too quickly.

"She has a lot of friends and sisters. If she wants to talk, I expect she will. You've had a lot on your mind, too, hon." Beka's tone is warm.

"Not sure yet where we're going. I've got to post a request for a place. Wherever we go, you'd be welcome... to visit or to stay over if you needed a place, or whatever."
