Criminal Justice (As Taught By A Criminal) - Period 3 - Monday 02/18

Today Deadpool was feeling distinctly lazy.

He blamed television.

That might be why he put on a video for the class. Full circle, you see. Full circle.

"Before we start on interrigations next week, I wanted you kids to see how aninvestigation goes in real life," He told them seriously.

A beat.

"Well, real life if you're created by Dick Wolfe and love being overly dramatic, at least. Just go with it."

(Mmmm, L&O:SUV. My favorite show about car related crimes.)

Kabuto glanced up from his book to eye Tamaki in an appraising way...then flicked a penny-sized ball of notebook paper at him. It wasn't a kunai, but there was something amusing about it. Especially since Kabuto could immediately go back to what he was doing, without looking at all guilty.

Tamaki flinched as the offending paper ball bounced off the side of his head and looked about wildly for the assailant. Seeing nothing suspicious, he sighed and resumed staring at the movie, sincerely hoping that this was a one-time incident. He did not appreciate such distractions, even in a class as quiet as this one.

Another little paper-wad was flicked at Tamaki again, this one landing precisely on the corner of his desk.

Unable to conceal the annoyance written all over his face, he picked up the paper and examined it, not really expecting that it would be anything more than a projectile.

It was a short note in neat, precise Japanese calligraphy. "//Are you feeling all right?//"

As far as Tamaki knew, the only person in his proximity who spoke Japanese was Kabuto. Offering a slight smile to his classmate, he penned a note on the paper before tossing it back.

"//I'm fine, thank you.//"

"//You seem very unhappy. Is there something that can be done to assist you?//" The polite (almost to the point of formal), near-perfectly written characters are very much Kabuto's style, and he gives himself away with a finger-wiggle of a wave.

"//I'm just tired, but thank you kindly, classmate!//" he wrote back, this time making sure to force a confident smile at Kabuto as he passed back the note.

"//Liar.//" Kabuto wrote back shortly, smiling as he went back to writing in his notebook.

Tamaki offered a pleasant smile, opting not to dignify Kabuto's single word with an answer.
