There was no elaborate simulations this week. "This week," John said, leaning against a desk at the front of the room, "we're going to concentrate on what happens in various forms on random weekends. And that's waking up not as yourself. You all had a taste of it a few weeks ago, but that's not the only version. There have been occasions of people waking up with amnesia, bodyswapping, just thinking you've bodyswapped, that sort of thing.

"Now, it's not easy to prepare for such a thing because when you think you're someone else you're not going to remember your preparations. You can always leave an emergency information packet to yourself with all your pertinent details in an easy to find place, but there's no guarantee you'll read it or believe yourself.

"But every time this happens, there's always some of you who aren't affected. It's left up to you to steer your affected classmates in the right direction and keep them from hopefully doing anything too dangerous or embarrassing." John paused and smiled slightly. "Often cameras seem to be involved as well to document the events in case anyone doesn't remember when they wake up themselves again, usually on Mondays. Just remember that the next time it happens you may be the one who is affected.

"So today's class, two assignments. Firstly, write up an information packet that would tell you all the important things in case you need to tell yourself some weekend. Secondly, I want you to pair up and take turns pretending to think you're someone else and dealing with someone who thinks they're someone else. Never hurts to have practice."

Ino snickered 'cause she hadn't been affected by the last AU weekend other than having to deal with Kabuto's change. And a talking bird.

She looked incredibly wind-swept and her hair was a complete disaster. Her mood? Was fantastic.

But she sat as far away from Hoshi when she signs in as she could just to make sure that her mood stayed fantastic. There was no need to ruin a day like she'd been having so far.

Hoshi had written her own information packet after waking up with no memory last fall. Still, that hadn't helped when she turned into a weird version of herself.

What was the point of an AU weekend if you couldn't freak out about it afterwards?

Liir started writing up a packet, noting the location of various things in the room, a couple of recipes in case cooking was needed, a large arrow telling him to go to room 201 with this note, which he wrote out a minute later, detailing to Andrew who he actually was. He made up another note directing him to Karal and another to Miss Lulu. He also put in his hours at the Book Haven, his classes (just in case; it might usually be a weekend but who knew), and a few tidbits about Oz that he usually kept to himself.

Meg had quite a few pointers for these situations. The main one being that you stay in your room and don't come out the entire weekend.

Luke's information packet was excessively detailed. There were entirely too many relatives, people who looked like relatives and clones of girlfriends for him not to want to mitigate the damage as much as possible.

Lucas could've used an informational packet a month ago. After including the usual details, he made it very clear that he was not to sleep with anyone who looked like Brooke. He considered adding in a picture of her to help.
