On this particular afternoon, soft classical music could be heard throughout the Music room at Fandom High. Tamaki had brought with him a small stereo and had been sure to have plenty of waltzing music on hand. In addition to the music, he'd brought two stacks of handouts, which he stacked neatly next to the stereo.

Tamaki smiled at everyone as they filed in, then bowed low in greeting.

"My fellow students and brand new hosts," he said cheerily, "Welcome to the Fandom High School Host Club's second ever meeting!" He smiled and gestured to the first stack of handouts. "First of all, I would like each Host to take a look at these basic lessons in etiquette. You will all be expected to behave like gentlemen while you are in the club! Do not forget," he winked. "I would also like all of you to see me when you have a moment, for I shall be taking costume theme suggestions for upcoming meetings." He turned to the guests. "I shall also take costume theme requests from the ladies, if they have any ideas," he added, with a disarming smile, "For their input is the most precious of all. Our aim is to delight!"

"As I mentioned in my e-mail earlier this week, you will all be learning to waltz today. A gentleman is graceful and light on his feet, Hosts," he said smoothly, sweeping his arm through the air as he spoke and stopping it in front of the second stack of papers. These are your dance step diagrams. Study them carefully, then choose a dance partner and give the waltz a try! I will be watching, and please do ask me if you're unsure. Give it your best effort! On occasion, the Host Club will have parties, and parties require dancing!"

After a moment, he grinned and cocked his head to the side, raising a hand to his chin. "I would like to add that I am also available to dance, and honored to do so, should any of the lovely volunteers feel lonely or wish to test my skill and grace."

He raised his hands and clapped them sharply, beaming with glee as he did so. "Begin!"

"//I am too,//" Haku said with a small bow. "//Or at least kind of.//"

"//Only kind of?//"

Haku blushed slightly. "//Ahh yes, it's one of those strange alternate universe type things that happen alot here at Fandom,//" he explained.

Tamaki nodded, although he did not understand in the least.

"//Do you think you'd need any help with the Host Club?//" He asked casually. "//It might help Teddy to be less nervous.//"

"//Are you saying you'd like to be a Host?//" Tamaki actually looked hopeful, even flattered.

"//I was sent to this school to learn new things, and this would be new,//" Haku reasoned.

"//That's great! What are your unique qualities, then, Haku?//"

"//I look like a girl,//" Haku shrugged with a slight blush. "//It might make some girls feel much more comfortable around me, more likely to open up? ~~I can also create ice, so I can keep their berverages cool~~"

Tamaki nodded, really liking the idea. A Host who was pretty like a girl? He was certain some of the ladies could really relate to that!

"//Very well, then! Starting today, you, Haku, are the Lovely Type!//" he said, pointing at Haku with great emphasis!

Haku was going to say that pointing at someone like that was rude and ungentlemanly, but he didn't really want to make Tamaki sulk again.

He bowed gracefully. "I'm glad to be apart of the group, are there any requirements that I must do?"

Tamaki smiled and shook his head. "You need only to show up on Sundays and entertain the young ladies. Proper attire and good manners are a must. Tell me, Haku, if a designation asked you 'Haku, how did you get to be so lovely?' what would you tell her?"

Haku looked at him oddly and smirked. It had to be a trick question. "Well if the point of this is to flatter those who come in here, then the proper response might be to say something along the lines that their smile is what brings the light to my face?"

He could have leapt in the air and whooped with excitement. The boy had talent! He clapped excitedly instead, his glee quite apparent.

"Excellent, Haku! Good! Good! Very good!"

There was a fleeting blush as Haku nodded. "Thank you, I'm glad that you approve."

"So, then, we'll see you here next Sunday, same time?"

"That sounds good." Haku paused a moment. "What kind of clothing should I wear?"

"Something classy, elegant," Tamaki urged, although he smiled as he did so.

"Classy and elegant," Haku nodded. "I think I can pull that off."

"Of course you can! You are a Host!"

He had a glint in his eye and pride in his voice. He truly believed that Haku was host material.
