Fandom High School Host Club - Sunday, February 10 - Music Room: Late Afternoon
On this particular afternoon, soft classical music could be heard throughout the Music room at Fandom High. Tamaki had brought with him a small stereo and had been sure to have plenty of waltzing music on hand. In addition to the music, he'd brought two stacks of handouts, which he stacked neatly next to the stereo.
Tamaki smiled at everyone as they filed in, then bowed low in greeting.
"My fellow students and brand new hosts," he said cheerily, "Welcome to the Fandom High School Host Club's second ever meeting!" He smiled and gestured to the first stack of handouts. "First of all, I would like each Host to take a look at these basic lessons in etiquette. You will all be expected to behave like gentlemen while you are in the club! Do not forget," he winked. "I would also like all of you to see me when you have a moment, for I shall be taking costume theme suggestions for upcoming meetings." He turned to the guests. "I shall also take costume theme requests from the ladies, if they have any ideas," he added, with a disarming smile, "For their input is the most precious of all. Our aim is to delight!"
"As I mentioned in my e-mail earlier this week, you will all be learning to waltz today. A gentleman is graceful and light on his feet, Hosts," he said smoothly, sweeping his arm through the air as he spoke and stopping it in front of the second stack of papers. These are your dance step diagrams. Study them carefully, then choose a dance partner and give the waltz a try! I will be watching, and please do ask me if you're unsure. Give it your best effort! On occasion, the Host Club will have parties, and parties require dancing!"
After a moment, he grinned and cocked his head to the side, raising a hand to his chin. "I would like to add that I am also available to dance, and honored to do so, should any of the lovely volunteers feel lonely or wish to test my skill and grace."
He raised his hands and clapped them sharply, beaming with glee as he did so. "Begin!"
[OOC:Please wait for OCD is up. Post is here for everyone who loves to dance! The Host Club is seeking volunteers to waltz with the Hosts and the music room doors are wide open. Please come and dance with us!]

Re: Pair Up and Dance
"Heya, Red," Dōjima said, stepping up to him. "Care to show a girl a good time?"

Re: Pair Up and Dance
"We can do one and pretend it's the other, yo." Okay, dancing was simple enough. Just. Moving with the music. Right-o. "Don't do this slow-dance kinda thing often." Ever. "So you might'a been better off to choose a dance partner who spends more time dancing and less time beatin' things up."
Re: Pair Up and Dance
"Besides, no way I'm dancing with mullet-boy."
Re: Pair Up and Dance
It's just what Reno does.
"Good to know that it's a combination of dancin' bad and lookin' good that won you over, yo." Pause. "Totally don't blame you for wanting to dance with the kid with the bad mullet, though."
Reno's hair wasn't a mullet and he would kill anyone who ever insinuated that it was.
Re: Pair Up and Dance
"Who said anything about looking good? I'm just here for your oh-so-winning personality," she said, trying not to trip over her own feet. "Can't they, you know, make it louder or something? Music should be loud. And cooler."
Re: Pair Up and Dance
Re: Pair Up and Dance
"I'm right there with you on the 'louder, faster, harder' bit. Dancing, drinking, music... when in doubt, more is always better."
Re: Pair Up and Dance
Please review the memo Re: Turk Dress Code and Reno's horrible mutilation of it.
"Don't really know how I let Tamaki talk me into this Host Club thing, yo. Too much prancing around pretending to have a sense of gentlemanly values or whatever."
Re: Pair Up and Dance
"You? A gentleman? Perish the thought. Maybe you're sticking around for the amusement factor? That's why I'm here. Well, and I didn't have anything else to do today. Might as well let other people entertain me, right?"
[off to bed! la!]
Re: Pair Up and Dance
"That's gotta be it. I'm stickin' around to see how the hell all these other dumbasses deal with Special Ed, there."
[Good night, you!]
