On this particular afternoon, soft classical music could be heard throughout the Music room at Fandom High. Tamaki had brought with him a small stereo and had been sure to have plenty of waltzing music on hand. In addition to the music, he'd brought two stacks of handouts, which he stacked neatly next to the stereo.

Tamaki smiled at everyone as they filed in, then bowed low in greeting.

"My fellow students and brand new hosts," he said cheerily, "Welcome to the Fandom High School Host Club's second ever meeting!" He smiled and gestured to the first stack of handouts. "First of all, I would like each Host to take a look at these basic lessons in etiquette. You will all be expected to behave like gentlemen while you are in the club! Do not forget," he winked. "I would also like all of you to see me when you have a moment, for I shall be taking costume theme suggestions for upcoming meetings." He turned to the guests. "I shall also take costume theme requests from the ladies, if they have any ideas," he added, with a disarming smile, "For their input is the most precious of all. Our aim is to delight!"

"As I mentioned in my e-mail earlier this week, you will all be learning to waltz today. A gentleman is graceful and light on his feet, Hosts," he said smoothly, sweeping his arm through the air as he spoke and stopping it in front of the second stack of papers. These are your dance step diagrams. Study them carefully, then choose a dance partner and give the waltz a try! I will be watching, and please do ask me if you're unsure. Give it your best effort! On occasion, the Host Club will have parties, and parties require dancing!"

After a moment, he grinned and cocked his head to the side, raising a hand to his chin. "I would like to add that I am also available to dance, and honored to do so, should any of the lovely volunteers feel lonely or wish to test my skill and grace."

He raised his hands and clapped them sharply, beaming with glee as he did so. "Begin!"

Teddy still can't dance, but... there he was.

Ready to try and not step on feet.

There might have been an impish grin as Haku went up to Teddy. "So, this is where you're been on Sundays?"

"Sunday!" Teddy replied sheepishly. "Only one before this."

"Still, it was kind of surprising to get that e-mail and have your name be on it," Haku pointed out and then looked around the room. "Are you going to ask me to dance?"

He ducked his head in embarrassment. "As long as you're okay with me not quite being the best dancer."

"Teddy, of course I'm okay with it," Haku smiled with a little laugh. "I don't know this dance either, so we can learn it together."

Teddy might have snagged Haku's hand a little too fast. "Thank you! I was so worried that I'd have to dance with someone I didn't know."

Haku laughed lightly as Teddy dragged him onto the floor. "I guess I'll take the girl's part," he chuckled.

"Unless you want to be the boy," Teddy replied with a grin. "I could try that."

"Which ever you're most comfortable with," Haku grinned. "I'm okay with taking the girls part."

"Neither, really," He admitted, taking the male position anyway. "I'm just glad that you showed up."

"Were you really that nervous?" Haku smiled. "I mean, I don't see why you would be."

He was trying to reassure him.

Teddy shrugged helplessly. "I'm not good at the dancing in public thing."

Haku took the girl's position and smiled at Teddy. "So as the gentleman I think you need to lead."

Crap.

With a deep breath, Teddy moved in a dance-like pattern. "No laughing."

"I'm not laughing," Haku pointed out as he let Teddy lead him through the moves, making sure to move his feet out of the way of Teddy's. "You're doing very well."

"So far," Teddy replied, looking down at his feet. He wasn't trying to trounce on Haku's feet...

"Stay confident," Haku smiled. "You'll make fewer mistakes if you're confident."

Glancing up, Teddy raised an eyebrow. "Easy for you to say. You're graceful."

"You only seem as graceful as the person you're dancing with," Haku smirked. "So if I'm graceful, so are you."

"You'd think so," Teddy replied, grinning despite himself.

"You're smiling," Haku pointed out. "I think that might mean you're actually enjoying yourself."

"Shut up," Teddy said, with more humor than annoyance. "I'll step on your feet."

"I could always freeze your underwear in retaliation," he grinned.

"You're a cruel roommate." But Teddy made extra care to not step on any toes with that.
