Valentine watched the movie for an admirable four or five minutes before his attention drifted to other things.

Other things, such as using the nub of pencil in his pocket to attempt that fascinating 'rubber pencil' trick, which sadly required more than the last two inches of pencil to properly pull off.

Other things, such as pulling a trio of balls from his pockets and attempting to balance them all on the back of one hand at once.

Other things, such as pondering the air-speed velocity of a coconut-laden minnow.

Important things.

It was possible that Valentine had a bit of an attention deficit issue.

Turtle maybe have been using the movie time to write fake practice speeches for public speech events, anyway. Because it was more interesting, she felt, than the movie.

He might not respond.

After she comes in, of course.

She is there! Being very bouncily TA-ish!
