After getting an ~~oh so handwavy~~ phone call from Sam, Lee was in the library, covering Sam's shift for him. He wondered how different the library was during the week as opposed to weekends. He usually made at least one stop to the library on Wednesdays but he was never behind the counter.

The library was open.

Lee's eating some breakfast now. Mmm, cereal and juice. He made sure not to get it on the books.

He's wandering around, shelving the books leftover from his shift yesterday.

And he's back behind the desk, reading now.

The library's closed except for other aides and Bob.

Still reading. But now he's added a bottle of water to his oh so interesting day.

With the day almost done, Lee's walking around, making sure everything is straight.

I'm around albeit slowish cuz of work. Boooo work. HURRAY BEER.

And finally, a week later, the librarian stumbled out of Special Collections.

He blinked, looking around rather curiously. "That was interesting."

And Lee was blinking right back, having not expected the librarian to make an appearance today.

..the librarian.

Hmmm.

"Sir," he said, standing up and walking over. "Where'd you come from?"

"Special Collections," He replied vaguely. "What day is it?"

"Monday," he said and narrowed his eyes. "What were you doing in there?"

He looked like he could use a shave and maybe a nice calm cup of tea. Something he was truly looking forward to. "Checking my instructions as to the management of it."

"You were in there for a long time to just be checking things out," Lee said dubiously.

"I found myself lost." A beat. "A week... interesting."

"Bummer," Lee said, frowning. "The library didn't explode or anything."

He finally looked right at Lee, raising an eyebrow. "Yes, I can see that. Thank you for not doing anything to encourage that in my absence."

"No problem," he said idly, shrugging. "I kind of like this place myself. It's quiet."

"Thank you anyway," He said, smiling and sounding much more genuine.
