Criminal Justice (As Taught By A Criminal) - Period 3 - Monday 01/21

Deadpool was not chipper today.

Deadpool was not in the mood to teach.

Deadpool wanted someone to pay for his damn costume being ripped apart by a moron embodiment of war who refused to stop trying to kill him.

Deadpool... was making the kids watch a movie today.

"We will never talk about the weekend and teacher has a headache and will hopefully have a hangover by tomorrow."

A beat.

"So, enjoy 4:15 to Tuscon and no talking to me." He let his head drop on the desk and looked half asleep by the time it hit.

She grinned. Perfectly reasonable. Anything happen to you this weekend?

I got an autograph from a TV character? I was perfectly normal, happy to say. You?

My boyfriend was replaced with a red-haired moron with a similar voice and I rescued a talking bird. I was totally myself, which I'm really glad about.

Jen suppressed a snicker. Are weekends ever normal around here?
intraspective: (only time)

Some of the time? Ino looked rueful. It could've been worse - we could've all lost our memories again.

Jen blanched visibly as she read that note, and the handwriting on the response was a little bit shakier. That's happened before? Just randomly?
intraspective: (either way thoughtful)

Ino frowned and glanced over at Jen. You okay? And yeah, it happened once - but I think it was the result of someone messing up a spell or something.

Jen tried to give Ino a reassuring half-smile as she tossed the note back. I had a couple of near-misses with people trying to alter my memory. At least here it was temporary, but bad memories, that's all. Sorry.

No problem. So? Who do you think is the most embarrassed in class today?

Yeah, Ino wasn't going to mention that she could possess people. That'd go down badly she suspected.

[Running to work now! Sp alright?]

Grateful for the distraction, Jen gave her a slight grin. Put names in a hat and pick one. I can't decide.

. . . it might go down fairly badly at that, considering Jen had been -- well, not possessed exactly, but under the influence of a mind-controlling serum once.

[OOC: Tooooooooootally all right with me. :)]

Half the class wants to die right now. That made her grin. It's totally our right to laugh at them.

Yeah... Ino was just going to keep quiet about things like that then.

If she knew? Jen would appreciate that a lot.

Is it horrible to wish I'd had a camera?

If it's horrible, I'm right there with you. I hope someone got pictures of this weekend.

Jen snickered as she passed the next note back. There have to be some, somewhere. People have cameraphones these days. I just hope they remembered to use them!

[OOC: And now my turn to flee work, so back in an hour and a half or so!]
intraspective: (joy!)

Re: Watch The Movie

Ino had to pause and stifle a giggle-fit before responding. And hope that they're willing to share! That's the most important part!

[identity profile] time-flyer-5.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe we can bribe them with cookies, Jen's reply read. As long as someone not me makes them!
intraspective: (flower blooming)

Re: Watch The Movie

[personal profile] intraspective 2008-01-22 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
I can make cookies. Ino wrote back quickly. Can you think of any likely candidates who'd have pictures?

She could cook. Ino just didn't like to for all that she was decent at it. But hey, she'd definitely make cookies to get her hands on pictures of the weekend. That was totally worth it.

Re: Watch The Movie

[identity profile] time-flyer-5.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Jen hadn't been kidding about someone else having to make the cookies -- she utterly and completely failed at it, and with potential photographic evidence in the offing, she wasn't going to take the risk.

I can ask around, she scribbled.
intraspective: (joy!)

Re: Watch The Movie

[personal profile] intraspective 2008-01-22 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Excellent. Ino's shoulders quivered with the effort not to laugh out loud. Once we find someone I'll need to find out what sort of cookies they'd prefer.

Jen, much to her chagrin, was having the same struggle. You know what the best part is? Even the teachers got it pretty bad.
intraspective: (joy!)

[personal profile] intraspective 2008-01-22 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
No way! Really? Ino's writing was starting to get pretty messy in her excitement. Do you know who and what happened to them?

Jen couldn't hold back a tiny snicker this time. Well, if I heard the radio right the other night, at least one of them got turned into a doll . . .

Re: Watch The Movie

[personal profile] intraspective 2008-01-22 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
"A doll!" Ino said outloud, before blushing and scribbling the rest of her response. A doll? We definitely need pictures.

Re: Watch The Movie

[identity profile] time-flyer-5.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Jen giggled. I think the radio that night said something about someone taking a lot of pictures. We just need to find her.
intraspective: (confidence)

Can you remember the name? Ino wrote. I don't really listen to radio much...
