Criminal Justice (As Taught By A Criminal) - Period 3 - Monday 01/21

Deadpool was not chipper today.

Deadpool was not in the mood to teach.

Deadpool wanted someone to pay for his damn costume being ripped apart by a moron embodiment of war who refused to stop trying to kill him.

Deadpool... was making the kids watch a movie today.

"We will never talk about the weekend and teacher has a headache and will hopefully have a hangover by tomorrow."

A beat.

"So, enjoy 4:15 to Tuscon and no talking to me." He let his head drop on the desk and looked half asleep by the time it hit.

Having experienced Lonnie who was a somewhat warped version of herself, and Alison who was completely different, Isabel could understand that confusion. "Yeah, it's easier to deal with when it's someone completely different. When it's you, you wonder how it happened. What changed. It's brain breaky."

"Exactly," Peter said. "It's like walking a minefield, or something."

"And you step and hope you don't go boom." However, Isabel felt Peter needed more of a glass half full approach this morning. "But maybe knowing is better. Because you can avoid the minefield all together."

"I really really want to," Peter agreed.

Again with the feeling that whatever happened was not of the fun and happy. "Well if you need help..."

"I'll let you know," Peter said. "Promise."

"Good. But give me a few hours to deal with a flaily Wyatt," Isabel said. "I think he had a rough weekend."

Oh good. Something else he needed to be reminded of.

"Him too, huh?"

"Yeah," she nodded. "It started when he woke up with me and freaked about being in bed with a pregnant chick. Particularly when, and I quote, 'I don't even like vaginas'. I can only assume that it got more interesting from there."

"I can guarantee that it did."

Isabel stared. He didn't mean what she thought he meant.

"No way..."

Peter really wanted to be invisible right now.

Oh, wait, he had that power.

So his response was to flicker a little. Mostly because he, like a moron, had forgotten that he had that power.

That answered that question. Isabel facepalmed. She wasn't even going to think about irony of the situation. ~~Or how pretty it might have been.~~

"You both had good taste?" she said weakly.

"Sure," Peter said, since he was reasonably certain that "I thought that for all intents and purposes I was going to die soon" would not come off as any kind of a compliment to Wyatt. "We'll go with that."

Given the limited, but rather unflattering image Isabel had of Christian? She'd probably understand. "I don't know. I'm thinking repression might be a better option."

"That was an option?" Peter asked. "Can we go with that option? I like that one."

"Why am I not surprised?" she asked. "Repression is bad though. How about we just accept and move on?"

"I'm not quite there yet," Peter admitted. "Can we limit that one to Wyatt?"

Which once again had Isabel worrying about exactly what had happened to Peter over the weekend. "Yeah, we can do that. Definitely."

"Thanks," Peter said.

"Please, I think I owe you this one," she said quietly, remembering what happened after the last bout of Fandom weirdness.
