Welcome to class everyone. I don't believe I was clear last class, but your presentation on one society's burial customs will be due on Wednesday, not today.

An Introductory Lecture on Burial Customs

Discussion Question: Do you believe the remains of the dead should be considered unclean?

I suppose it depends on your definintion of unclean. Obviously a rotting corpse isn't going to be very healthy to have lying round, but really it's just so much dead meat.

"You'd be surprised Martin. Ask Ms. Sidle in the Science Department about bodies found in bathtubs. If a body is left in a body of water or an enclosed space, decompisition is messy as best."

After class, Grissom looks at the book and smiles. He tucks it under his arm with a grin, happy with the new addition to his library and that Martin seems to be safe and taking a better road for himself. He makes a note to ask how he is doing in a few weeks and check on how he is adjusting.
