15 Ways to Protect Yourself and Others: Week 13, Period 3

For some reason that would probably be explained, class was held in the Home Ec room today. When the class arrived, five of the 'kitchen stations' were set up with food and several copies of a fat book.

Aly was sitting on one of the tables away from the food, looking slightly amused. "Good morning everybody," she said once they were all assembled. "When the class started, I warned you that my idea of protection might not be completely the same as everyone else's, and this class is going to be a good example of that."

She waved over the array of kitchen stations. "Some of you probably know how to cook. Some of you wouldn't have the least idea in the world. Today, hopefully, that second group is going to change a bit. Because sometimes protecting someone means feeding them and making sure they have energy for the next day. There should be a copy of that cookbook for everyone to take with them. It's nothing fancy. I can barely cook so I'm not giving you Julia Child or anything here."

"Your task for today is to work with a group or by yourself and make something edible out of the ingredients at your table. Then share it amongst your classmates. Breakfast being the most important meal of the day and all."

"Any questions? I don't want any of you leaving before letting me try a bite or a piece of what you make."

[OOC: OCD is coming up. Class brought to you by me being really, really hungry.]

Josh hissed in a breath. "So, not good. Does that mean the sheriff's heading home?"

No secondary agenda here at all, really.

"It'd be a different place without him," Josh commented casually.

Josh gave her a bright smile. "It'd be a boring, lifeless place without you here."

Josh leaned in and kissed her nose. "That and a bag of sugar around my neck."

"Took me long enough," he murmured, nipping on her lower lip.

Josh shifted closer and rested his hands around her waist. "I've heard being fast is not considered an asset," he replied.

"Flattery will get you everywhere," Josh said nipping at her ear.

"This is me, very much not complaining," Josh said, pressing a few kisses against her neck.
