Fandom Invasions Week #12, Thursday period 3

When the class entered the Danger Shop today, it was made up to look like one of the common rooms. John was not obviously in sight, but there were six children rampaging around the place as unsupervised children are wont to do.

Near the sign in sheet was a small whiteboard with this written on it:

Not all weird events in Fandom are as deadly serious as what happened two weeks ago. Sometimes it's almost child play.

Like the situation we're looking at in this class. Every now and then something happens and certain people in Fandom's population find themselves experiencing a second childhood. In this case, it's your teachers.

Your assignment today is to deal with the young teachers present, look after them, keep them entertained and safe. Also, keep everything else safe from them. If they manage to blow up themselves, each other, you or the island, consider that a failing grade on this assignment.

Also? Tying them up or locking them in a closet is not allowed.

"John!" Zoe said, skipping over to him. "I have something for you."

"Yeah?" John looked up from his cars. "What?"

Zoe handed John a piece of paper, with a drawing of the two of them. "It's us!" she said excitedly. "That's me, and that's you." She didn't feel the need to point out all the hearts in the drawing. Those were self-explanatory, after all.

John was bright enough not to mention the hearts and his opinion on them. Not when Zoe was in kicking range. "Why are you wearing a crown?"

"'Cause I'm the queen," Zoe said. "You can have a crown too if you want to be my king."

John brightened at that. "That would mean I was in charge. Everyone knows kings outrank queens."

"Nuh uh. Not if the king is only king because he's married to the queen," Zoe insisted.

"Uh huh," John argued. "Because kings are boys."

"Right, and girls are better than boys, so they get to be in charge," Zoe replied.

John snorted. "Yeah, right. Boys totally rule more than girls do."

"You say that 'cause you're a boy, so you never know what you're talking about," Zoe said. "It's okay, I'll take good care of you while I'm queen."

John ignored the first part of that (obviously just a sign of how girls never understand anything)and focused on the second. "Can you get us ice cream?"
