Deadpool grinned and bounced a little. "Hello my little chickadees! Today we're talking about the wonder of Bea Arthur. The goddess among women, the light of my life." He popped in another little clip. "Also a goddess? Betty White. That foul mouthed little minx keeps trying to steal my heart away from Bea. Naughty girl."

Sometimes, like now, it was best to not try and figure out if he was being serious.

"Discuss her greatness amongst yourselves and yes, yes this will all be on the final. And so help me god, I will fail everyone who gets information about Bea wrong. Fail them with extreme prejudice."

"Buttercream or there's just no reason to live," He told her seriously. "And, while I'm not saying this or anything because I'm a teacher, but hiding weapons is surprisingly easy."

He cleared his throat.

"If you were to do that. Which you shouldn't. Ever."

"No, of course not," she nodded solemnly, "because that would be a violation of school policy, which would be wrong."

She really loved this school sometimes.

"And the principal would probably punch me again," He told her seriously. "Nearly broke my jaw last time."

"Principal Washburn almost broke your jaw? Really?"

"Well I did drug and kidnap her so Madrox could take over the school..."

"...why?"

"No idea!" Deadpool replied cheerfully. "Of course, he didn't pay me enough to make sure I kept her kidnapped. A few poorly tied knots can go a long way."

"What's the going rate on a kidnapping these days, anyway?" She wondered if she should start saving money to be able to offer a counteroffer next time.

Deadpool eyed her warily. "You want me to kidnap someone for you?"

She shook her head. "No, I get kidnapped all the time. I'd like it to stop."

"Ohhhh." Deadpool frown, sizing her up a bit. "Human kidnappers or those with crazy powers?"

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge sigh. "Demons, vampires, vampires, more vampires..."

More frowning. "Yeah, I don't really play with them. That Blade guy is a little too MAX title for me, you know? Thigh stabbing not work? That sometimes makes me pause in a fight."

Yeah, she had no idea what he was talking about until he got to the thigh stabbing. "I've never tried it."

He nodded sagely. "Try it next time. Try to aim for-" He pointed to a spot on his thigh. "-there. Femoral artery." A beat. "Or, you know. The groin."

"Oooh, that really works?" Dawn was highly impressed and wondering why no one had ever told her this before.

"Well, for a normal person, they'd bleed out in about five minutes, but I'm not certain how it works for demons." He paused. "Though that might be interesting to try..."

"I could try to run in your general direction next time I'm being chased by one and you could find out? They're usually kinda strong, though. Not sure if that would be a problem?"

"Aww, that's sweet," Deadpool replied, grinning. "It's been ages since I got to have a good fight like that."

"I'll do what I can," she promised. "When do you want the cake?"

"Next week?" Deadpool asked. "I have plans for the weekend. Plans that don't involve students."

No, that wasn't horror. Honest. "No, that's fine! More than fine, really! Finetacular! Nope, wouldn't want to interrupt those plans, nope nope nope."

"Excellent." He might be ignoring the horror. "It's just a date, kid."

Or not.

"Hey, you know me, just a student. So, I'll stop bothering you and go study. Or something. Thanks for letting me bug you." She backed up a little. "Teachers and private lives and me should be non-mixy. It's nothing personal."

Deadpool waved good naturedly. "Good luck with the kidnappings! Try a nice balisong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_knife)!."
