Modern Feminism: From Susan B Anthony to Bea Arthur - Second Period - 11/28

Guess what was back in class today.

Go on. Guess

Nope. Totally off base.

What? No! Stop thinking naughty things!

It's Maude you sick twisted person.

(A donkey, seriously? You all need help.)

Deadpool grinned and bounced a little. "Hello my little chickadees! Today we're talking about the wonder of Bea Arthur. The goddess among women, the light of my life." He popped in another little clip. "Also a goddess? Betty White. That foul mouthed little minx keeps trying to steal my heart away from Bea. Naughty girl."

Sometimes, like now, it was best to not try and figure out if he was being serious.

"Discuss her greatness amongst yourselves and yes, yes this will all be on the final. And so help me god, I will fail everyone who gets information about Bea wrong. Fail them with extreme prejudice."

Turtle did more watching of Jeff than of the clips. He looked thoughtful. All things considered, this was not a good thing, so her drifting eyes were worried and slightly terrifying.

He felt something prickling on the back of his neck.

Was there a monster of some sort? Was it Professor Deadpool? Or worse, a woman?

Jeff glanced over very, very slowly.

Oh. It was Turtle! He flashed her a truly ridiculous grin and both thumbs up. They were even aimed at her eyes.

Turtle blinked as though the response wasn't quite registering immediately. And then her expression became a little confused as it didn't really connect with what she was assuming was going on and so, not knowing what else to do besides realizing that her boyfriend was just very odd (or not realizing it, because she already knew that), she tentatively gave him a thumb's up back.

And really, really hoped she hadn't accidentally supported something she'll regret later.
