Thanksgiving - The cafeteria - Thursday early evening

Molly wasn't exactly in the mood to be social, but a StuCo sponsored Thanksgiving meal had been her suggestion and she could fake happy. Too bad there hadn't been time for StuCo to organize everything. Then she'd remembered the food replicator that got used every now and then.

So, she'd headed down to the cafeteria, picked the lock on the doors and quickly found the mailbox sized device.

After a test run and the discovery that it could make place settings as well, Molly made some hasty ~~handwavy~~ signs and ran to put them up in the dorm stairwells and common rooms before heading back to the cafeteria to start replicating dinner.

Finally, she opened the doors and sat down to wait to see if anybody would show up.

Teddy ducked his head sheepishly. "I knew. I just don't have family to see, really."

She stared at him briefly, then picked up her plate and went to sit with him. "I'll be your family then!" Ino grinned, "After all, you're my bigger brother's boyfriend so you almost are anyway!"

Teddy grinned at that, pushing one of his pieces of pie to her. "That sounds nice."

More pie? Ino supposed it was alright, since it was a holiday and all. "Well," she said teasingly, "it'd be rather mean to say it sounded like an awful idea, don't you think?"

"And I'm just an evil guy like that." Teddy replied, chuckling at that.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "You don't look very evil."

"I hide it well," Teddy confided. "I'm secretly an evil villain. With the attacking and everything."

He was terrifying. Really.

He made Ino laugh.

"I can attack too! Can I be a villain also?" Ino adopted her most innocent expression.

"I don't know," Teddy said warily. "Are you willing to wear a stupid outfit and make puns?"

She duly considered this. "Can it be a cute stupid outfit?"

Teddy frowned. "As long as you make the puns!"

"I'm not sure how good I'd be at that." Ino wrinkled her nose at the idea, "And why do puns have to be made anyway?"

"I don't know yet. You'll need a name and then you can come up with puns?"

"What's wrong with my real name?" Pause. "And the puns you make depend on your name?"

Weeeeeird.

Teddy rolled his eyes, forgetting that not everyone was from his home. "A fake name, to hide your identity."

Ino reached out to lightly whack him on the shoulder. "Back home, villains use their real names most of the time." She pondered, "What's your fake name?"

Teddy ducked his head again. "Hulkling."

Her lips twitched and Ino made a valiant effort of keep from laughing. Some giggles probably escaped anyway.

"Why?!"

"Because I was strong like the Hulk and a shape shifter..." It made sense! Really!

Maybe to someone from his world. "Who is the Hulk?" Ino persisted, "and what do you mean you can change shape?"

"He's a really strong hero. Kinda. It's complicated." He ducked his head again, changing suddenly. "Like that."

Ino squeaked in surprise and stared at him. "Give some warning next time!" Geez. Pause. A long look. "That's so weird." It was said approvingly.

Teddy grinned, but didn't change back yet. "Yeah, perks of not being human."

"Yeaaaah, Chad said something about that." She looked mischievous, "He also mentioned concubines. So what does being green mean you can do differently?"

Blushing, Teddy coughed nervously. "I can look like anyone I want and-" He grew sharp scales along his arm. "-stuff like that."
