There was something going down and Deadpool was starting to get a wee bit worried.

So many sickies!

"Okay kids, today we're learning about Florence Nightingale." He nodded, looking at ~~what was left of~~ his class. "Nurse, Bea Arthur prototype, and I think she had syphilis. But that could just be me..."

He shook his head, waving dismissively. "Never mind! She set the standard for nursing and patient care way back in the Crimean war. Why they would need standards in the war on crime, I'll never know. But it's the way it is."

Frowning again, Deadpool looked at the class. "So, yeah. Take her example and if you're not sick, help out. And if you are sick... What the hell are you doing here?! Get your sniffly ass down to the town hall hospital dealie! Don't make me bodyslide you there!"

"You threatened my babies!" He pet the knife. "Shhh, it's okay. I won't let the bad man hurt you."

"You are giving me a headache," Fraser said, rubbing his temple.

Wade paused, putting the knife away and tilting his head at Fraser. "Do you need to go to the clinic?" He asked, sound genuinely concerned.

"I'm not sick," he said immediately. "I'm just tired and...annoyed that nothing seems to be working and we're basically an island unto ourselves out here. I'm not sick. I apologize for giving you the impression I was sick."

Wade frowned and gave him a manly pat on the shoulder. Manly. Very manly.

"Sleep then. No one needs a cranky Mountie. It ruins the image of Canada."

"I'll sleep," he promised. "You too. Not...with me."

"...Well I'd hope not."

Arashi got possessive around Fraser, he had no idea why.

"I always feel like I have to make disclaimers about that," Fraser said. "It's all Aly's fault."

"She's to blame for a lot of things," Wade agreed. "You need to make a bet with her so she can't mention UST ever again." A beat. "Not that there is any. Of course."

"She won our last bet," Fraser grumbled. "I need one I can positively win."

Wade paused. "Wait, I missed you in leather?"

Not that he was looking forward to that for a reason other than blackmail.

"No," he said, shaking his head. "I'm hoping she forgets that. And doesn't tell anyone else but you."

(Should I remind her or not... Choices, choices...)

"Well maybe this week will make her forget?"

"Maybe," Fraser said, shrugging. "We'll see. I'd just like to avoid leather."

"It's not too bad, really. I prefer the cotton, but leather is nice in a fight." A beat. "Less shrapnel gets through."

Wade was not picturing Fraser in a black leather outfit that made him look like an extra from Queen of the Damned.

"I'm partial to cotton as well," Fraser said. "Leather isn't...for me."

Still not picturing it.

Nope.

"Then it's decided, no dressing like a slutty vampire wannabe from a bad movie!"

Fraser stared.

"...what?"

Oh, poor poor Fraser.

"Huh?"

"Slutty vampire what?" Fraser asked again.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Wade replied easily. He might have been spending too much time around Nate with how easy pretending something didn't happen came to him.

Fraser eyed him. "I worry for your mental health."
