Alternative Tactics, Wednesday Period One, 14/11

Lieutenant Sarah Kerrigan wasn't looking too hot today.

Which would be code for 'pale, glazed eyes, and sweat soaking clothes and hair alike'. With the occasional lean towards 'stumbling'.

"Today's supposed to be your exam, kids," she said, keeping her limbs as straight as they could, "A bunch of you are sick, which means you're not gonna be here to hear me tell you you'll get a make-up exam sometime when you're not sweating liquid death out your pores. The rest of you, we're squaring off against each other today. Pick a partner and a suit and let's exercise some tactics. You get your choice in assault types for this one; pick a Firebat suit for close combat flamethrowing, a stealth suit for sniping action, or be boring and grab the Marine suit with the big gun."

She activated the sim, then wobbled to her desk.

If anyone asked, she was just stalking off. Really.

[ wait for the ocd up! ]

Luke Skywalker, healthy but worried.

Luke's mental grumblings were loud with complaints about stubborn teachers who should know better and just head down to the clinic like nice, reasonable people.

He might've been thinking of a few people.

Lee wasn't sick but he'd heard about the increasing amount of sick people popping up and seeing this particular teacher looking like death warmed over was...not frakking good.

He spent most of this time listening but subtly staring to make sure she didn't fall over.

Lee still wasn't really sure about doing this lesson when he thought the teacher was going to end up on the floor but he was looking for a partner anyway.

"Lieutenant?" Forget the professor bit right now. "You okay?"

"Really?" Lee didn't believe her. "You look like my brother did after he ate one too many helpings of my mother's meat and cheese surprise."

"He really does," Lee said, nodding. "Made of steel. He'll eat anything once and then if it stays down, my mother knows she can cook it again. Actually, I take that back. He looks better than you. You look like frakking crap. You're not fine."

"I don't know who Prince goddamn Charming is," Lee said, frowning. "I probably don't look like him. I probably look better. I look better than you. I can actually stand without looking like I might fall over."

"Please," he said and rolled his eyes. "If it's contagious, I've already got it. We should take a trip, you and me."

"I'll protect you," he said dryly. "You should go to the clinic. I'm asking nicely."
