Love Smart: Period 2, Week 7
Students were summoned to the Danger Shop for this week's class. "I hope you all got my email. If you managed to speak to Robin Sparkles and want your extra credit, come talk to me after class," he began.
"Now, couples parties are one of the biggest relationship hurdles to overcome. My friends Marshall and Lily were successful. How, you ask? By running away from their own wine tasting. They, rightly, didn't see the point of waiting an hour to get drunk so the alcohol could 'breathe' while listening to other couples go on about their attempts to get pregnant, or worse, married. Instead, Marshall and Lily escaped by jumping out of the bathroom window and made their way to join me and Ted at Club Awesome. Granted, Club Awesome was not so Awesome after all, but it was way better than a couples party," Barney shuddered in horror at the memories of Club Awesome, not that students would know that.
"This is your midterm, people," he hadn't realized it was until he heard about other midterms on radio. "You, my most excellent students of relationships will partner up and go through a maze where you will meet a variety of boring parties. Your goal is to find the bathroom and escape the maze of bad couples parties." They would be scarred by wine tastings, fondue parties, and possibly a Mary Kay lady.
"Partner up and get to it!" he said with a flourish and the scene of the classroom changed.
There was a huge maze behind the students, one of those tall overgrown and green types, but instead of a Minotaur, other, more devious evils lurked within. Students should enter at their own risk.
