Teddy nodded, not looking like he was taking notes at all. Because this was all hypothetical, of course.

"How do you tell if the people are trust wor--" He shook his head, realizing where the conversation had gone. "Sorry, I should be taking up your time with stupid questions."

Aly shrugged. "I'm happy to spend it," she said. "And I rarely mind talking about questions. Unless you're going to ask me why the Mountie wears a hat, and then I just don't have that answer."
