Pizza and pop had been picked up for the Student Council meeting following the unwritten in stone law that a good Parliamentary session needed food. Or perhaps that was just written in stone at Fandom.

Peter stood up to bring the meeting to order. "First things first, we all did a brilliant job on Homecoming. Everyone deserves a round of applause for how great our first project of the season came off even though we didn't have much time to prepare."

"Secondly, we have midterm break coming up next week which means two things. One, Parents' Weekend is in a week, and two, any ideas for fun things to do over the break wouldn't go amiss."

He paused as a troupe of knights galloped across the table, banners flying. "Hmm."

"Right. So for Parents' Weekend, what we need is someone to find a place for the Sunday brunch to be held - which I'll volunteer to do, and suggestions for an activity on Saturday. ...also if I can remember the horror of last year clearly, a party Sunday night might be in order."

"That being said, enjoy your pizza and let's figure this out."

Other ideas to help contain - or entertain - our relatives, god help us all?

"I know this goes without saying," Turtle said, adjusting her duchess crown and just about ready to kick Sam if he wasn't wearing his like they talked about, but she couldn't quite tell right now because he was so darn tall, "but Turtle & Canary's available for whatever it might be needed for, and that included me donating whatever sort of party supplies and et cetera for any of the events." She gave a small, important type of nod.

Naminé considered. "Would you like me to ask about having the brunch at Fina? The cheese-grater and pepper-shaker love it when we have guests."

"That would be brilliant, Naminé," Peter said immediately. "Though for those with less...ah, accepting families, do you think they would be too shocked?"

"I think, usually, people who aren't accustomed to the ... unusual, just think it's all costuming," she mused. "It might seem like a rather enthusiastic sort of theme restaurant. I can ask them not to mention the curse, if you'd like."

"That would probably be best," Peter agreed. "Some people come from a rather more normal type of place, and we really ought to let them keep thinking that."

Naminé laughed. "I'll be sure to tell them, then. If it's to be there, I mean. Will it?"

"Certainly. Would you take charge of arranging it?" Peter said. "It sounds like an excellent solution."

"Absolutely," she smiled. "It should be very easy to set up. Leave everything to me."

"I'm captain of the cheerleaders now with Rikku while Buffy is gone," Molly explained. "At practice on Wednesday, Aly suggested that we do a demo for Parents' Weekend since we don't have a competition planned for the near future. Do you think we could fit that in anywhere?"
