Welcome everyone to class. I made a jello mold if anyone would like some. It has pineapple!

Today we will continue to study pet care, although a more traditional sense. Today we will talk about taking care of cats.

Lecture on Proper Cat Care
And a lecture on all the awful things cats do to your furniture, etc. (And they stink.)

In class today, we will be applying our skills.


Meet Sarah and Spider, our class mascots!


Be careful, Sarah's sword may be miniature, but it is quite sharp. Leaves one nasty little paper cut, but I have antibacterial gel, neosporin, band-aids, gauze, and duct tape in my purse if she gets a little rough with you. It's so teeny tiny and cute though, I figured it would pass under the weapons ban. I made her leave the mini-cat AK-47 at home.

This is the Home Ec lab, so feel free to demonstrate any of your cat care skills! I'll be grading you on your effort.

"She's rather attached to it, I'm afraid. Comes with being a ninja kitty I guess. You should see what she did to my herb garden this morning. I had to put her on kitty time-out in her pen, and then she used the sword to pick the lock!"

*Paige bursts out laughing, the dog that tattooed her had not freaked her out in the slightest, but this was just funny*

"Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you. I called her a mangy beast this morning, and let's just say I didn't get the cuts on my legs from shaving. I think she tried to write her name on my ankle like Zorro or some foolish thing. She was quite mad when I took away some of her other arsenal for misbehaving, but there is so reason a kitten needs nunchaku."

"Why don't you play with Spider? Despite the sometimes stand-offish attitude, he's a very sweet kitty."

*Baby voice* "Aren't you Spider? Aren't you the sweetest little thing. Awwwww, he likes it when I rub his belly."

*Paige smiles* Yeah he seems much less dangerous, she bends over and strokes the cat. May I take him over to the table?

"Oh absolutely! Why don't you play with him and brush his coat until your classmates arrive?"

*she picks up the cat and a brush and goes over to a table stroking it*
