It wouldn't have been Aziraphale's class if there were no breakfast pastries and pots of tea and coffee on the table in the center of the room. Since it was Aziraphale's class, those items were conveniently available for the students to enjoy.

The teacher himself had just finished setting up a display of scrying implements, and turned to the class once everyone was seated.

"As you can see, today's exercise will be in chrystallomancy, or crystal gazing. Before we begin the exercise, however, I want to give you a brief lecture on dream interpretation. You may think it odd that the lecture would focus on dreams while the exercise covers scrying, but really the two are very similar. The same sorts of symbolism you're going to encounter in your dreams is also very often present in chrystallomancy as well."

Aziraphale proceeded to give his lecture on dream interpretation, and gave each student several different handouts and a blank journal.

"Your homework for is to keep a dream journal for the next week. One of your handouts has some good pointers on methods for keeping them. When you come to the next class, I'd like you to bring a written interpretation of one of the dreams from your journal. Now, we'll move on to today's class exercise."

He gave a short talk on the basics of chrystallomancy, and then said, "Now, pair up and choose a crystal or scrying mirror to work with, and do a reading for your partner. Also, please don't forget to turn in your homework assignment from last week."

"Well, this weekend was pretty weird, but other than that, I'm okay," Wyatt said. "How about you? Recovering okay?"

Savannah nodded. "It was kind of scary not knowing who I was. But I was with Chris and Summer and Johhny, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been."

"Two out of three isn't bad," Wyatt muttered.

She looked at Wyatt. "You guys really don't like each other," she said quietly.

"Watching him be a grade A prick to my brother doesn't exactly warm my heart," Wyatt said. "Personally, I thought Chris was better for you, but hey, your choice. I didn't have anything against Johnny until he started being a dick to Chris about it and acting like you were a trophy."

Savannah's eyes widened. "Chris? What's he doing to Chris?" Her voice went brittle. "I'm not a trophy. I'm not a possession." Her hands were shaking and she put them in her lap. "She shook her head. No one will treat me like that again."

"Oh, just flaunting the fact that he's going out with you in front of Chris," Wyatt said. "You've heard of sore losers, right? Well, he's a sore winner."

Then he noticed Savannah's reaction and dropped his voice. "What's wrong?"

"He's not supposed to do that," Savannah pointed out the obvious.

She looked down at her lap for a long moment. "I... when I was twelve I was... captured..." She shook her head. "This is probably not the place to... talk about it." She ran a hand through her hair and forced a smile. "But... I told Chris. You can ask him if you like."

She really didn't think she could go into detail again right now.

"Okay," Wyatt said, concerned. "We can talk about it later. But yeah, you're right, he's not supposed to do that," he went on. "Well, okay, all guys do it. But not to my little brother."

"I don't like anyone doing that to Chris," she said as she got herself back under control. She figured that talking about Chris and Johnny would make him forget about how upset she had gotten.

"Why would Johnny do something like that? He knows Chris is one of my best friends."

"I don't like him doing that to you, either," Wyatt grumbled, totally not forgetting. "Some guys are just like that. They want to be the best at something, and they want everyone to know it." There may have been a little of the pot calling the kettle there.

"Chris doesn't deserve that. He's way too nice of a guy." Her eyes darkened. "Johnny and I are going to have a chat about how you treat my friends."

The tone of her voice did not bode well.

Wyatt grinned. "You get him, killer," he said.

Her face paled at that and there may have been a small flail. "I... I wouldn't kill... I'm not..."

"Whoa, whoa," Wyatt said, reaching out to put his hand on her arm. "I didn't mean it literally."

Savannah swallowed, forcing herself to calm down. "Sorry. Nightmares. Not getting much sleep."

"Savannah, what's wrong?" Wyatt asked quietly.

"I'm just having some nightmares lately. It happens from time to time."

"Anything I can do to help?" Wyatt said, rubbing her arm.

"Don't be upset or surprised if I show up at your door in the middle of the night needing a friend?"

"Any time, Savannah," Wyatt assured her.
