fandomhigh | Love Smart: Period 2, Week 4

All students had been ~~handwavily~~ informed that the class was meeting in the computer lab today. Barney stood at the front of the lab, in a flawless charcoal pinstripe with pink and grey tie. He was super pumped and excited for class.

"To start today, I have a copy of the worst music video ever known to man. And it just happens to have been sung by someone new to our very fine Fandom radio station!" This time he pointed his remote at the projector and Robin Sparkles' famous video Let's Go to the Mall played to terrorize their minds.

"Now that that's fresh in your mind, let me tell you that should any student argue with me today, I will give you detention immediately. I kid you not." He glared at everyone but that stripper-named chick, cuz she'd managed to play along last week.

"Okay, kiddos, POP QUIZ TIME!"

He passed out the tests and walked the room, glaring at Zack most of the time. When they were finished, he collected the quizzes and resumed his lesson.

"People often ask me 'Barney how is that you're so psyched so much of the time?'" No they didn't. "Well, I'll tell you how, I play my Get Psyched mix. Today you're all going to be making mix tapes. Or cds, whatever you want to call them. Music is the soundtrack of your life and now you're going to share it with your significant other. What kind of music will you give them? Something to show you mean business?"

He hit a button on the teacher computer and Kenny Loggins blared out of the speakers. He hit another button and it stopped.

"Something to show you're ready to break up?" Bon Jovi's You Give Love a Bad Name began playing. Again, Barney stopped the music.
"Maybe you're looking for a way to define your love?" Now he covered his ears after starting the music. Why? Because it wasn't music Barney ever wanted to hear, but he had to give an example.

When it was over, Barney grinned and indicated the student workstations."Your computers have access to my full music collection as well as some random free internet music sources. Work together or on your own to make your mix as I really couldn't care less. Feel free to keep one copy and turn another in to me at the end of class."

[ooc: ~~Wait for it~~ OCD DONE! Sometimes I wonder about how I spend my time. And then I post class and think, OH THERE IT WENT!]

"Yes, it's a pretty big city, the capital of the United States, actually. And I think going there is something people do pretty often," Andrew said. "I can look into it if you want."

Ooh, the capital! Well, that sounded like a trip Beauty definitely needed to make. She grinned at Andrew. "I'd really like that! But, only if it's something you think other people would like to do too. I don't want you to go through all of that trouble just for me."

Andrew would gladly go through the trouble just for Beauty. There wasn't much he wouldn't do for a friend.

"I'll totally check it out. I'll ask John. I know he's been off the island a number of time."

"Thank you, Andrew," Beauty replied, giving him a bright smile. "I think I'm going to have to do more than bring you a milkshake at work to thank you for that."
