Fandom Invasions Class #4 (Thursday period three)

When the class filed in, they found the Danger Shop set up to look like the grounds outside the school in winter with a large amount of snow on the ground and more falling.

"Good morning," John greeted them. "It's not necessarily an invasion, but another thing that happens sometimes here is strange weather. Such as freak snowstorms. When that sort of thing happens, it's best to just take it in stride and go with it." He gestured around him. "So do whatever you would when faced with an unexpected snowfall." John smiled a little wolfishly at him. "Just remember to be ready for the unexpected."

Peter pounced, aiming for grabbing a leg so he could try to drag her down.

Claire squealed, and went sprawling, dropping the snowball in her hand.

She rolled on her back, wriggling intensely to away.

Well that wouldn't do. Peter freed a hand to try to splash a nearby snowdrift onto her.

Claire squealed again.

"Quit it!"

It didn't stop her getting splashed with snow, but it did... actually, it didn't do anything useful, but it made her feel better.

"You saying uncle?" Peter asked, having no idea how much irony was in that question.

Claire gave him a look, even as pinned as she was.

"How old are you?"

"Sixteen, why?" Peter asked.

"My brother's like... thirteen, and he grew out of uncle years ago," Claire said.

While one hand gathered snow under it.

"Maybe he's just hiding it." That made no sense, but Peter didn't notice.

Claire kept up the disapproving look just long enough to jerk her hand up and throw snow at the back of his neck.

Peter gave a very undignified squeal and sat up so he could try to brush the snow away.

Claire took the opportunity to free herself firmly, and gathered another ball.Just in case.

"Truce?"

Claire dropped the snowball easily and grinned at him, offering a hand even though it was wet and freezing.

Peter took her hand and shook it. "This class is a heck of a lot more fun with you in it."

Claire grinned, warmly.

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking."
