Study Hall -- Thursday, September 29th

Welcome to Thursday's study hall. I'm in a good mood today because it's the mun's birthday -- woohoo!, so I promise not to threaten anybody today. Well, unless one of you behaves like a fucking tool.

A couple of announcements:

-- Regarding the discussion in the weapons ban thread yesterday, nobody's going to go around to all of the magical students and inquire as to their abilities. They're already in the permanent school files from when you enrolled, remember? *grumbles* Little punks ... can't wait until every last one of you burns in the fires of nuclear war, you ignorant fucks ... (OOC: Hee. Isn't it scary that this is Sarah's GOOD mood? ;))

-- There will be a detention this weekend, so if any teacher wishes to be in charge of that, feel free to volunteer.

-- In case you haven't heard, fh_adoptions is open for business.

(OOC- Gotcha. It's up to you if you want to have 'real' bands play- if you're up for it, it'd be super cool. Especially if they're like, playing for a sandwich or something. And should I ask alltimetop5 about DJing, or is that a no?)

Look, Elizabeth's having some trouble getting a homecoming date. I suggested having the next MFCD meeting Saturday. I'm offering to talk about getting a homecoming date. If you know any girls who are looking for a date, send 'em by. It'll be good practice.

Angela walks in and notices what Marty is doing, and taps his shoulder to get his attention.

"Wow. So you have, like, this whole platform."

She tilts her head, trying to read what he's writing, but gives up.

"What is it?"

"Fair point," Rory says with a slight smile. Her sympathetic nature wins, however, and she turns her attention back to she-Jake.

Angela is in study hall, but she's even more caught in her own thoughts than usual. It might take something special to get her attention.

Marty was so engrossed in his work he almost jumped when Angela tapped on his shoulder.

"Hi! Uh... yeah. Just working out some campaign ideas. Six, Baltar and I are thinking of joining together for our own little ticket, so I was working on some of the ideas we've been tossing around."

Marty shows Angela a list that says "Escape the bonds of tyranny", "We are God's instrument", "Provide a safe school environment" and "Reduce prices on vending machine items."

"We still have some issues to work out. How've you been?"

"I like the vending machine one," Angela says, giving him a half-smile. "That's, like, the one I would vote for."

"I guess I'm okay. I went to Mr. Phale's and got some books," she says, opening her bookbag to show him the thick vampire volume she's toting around. "They gave me some ideas." Discreetly, she shows Marty her necklace, a small gold cross she had found at the bottom of her jewelry box.

"I guess you're doing okay?"

Kitty walks in, with Lockheed on her shoulder and finds a desk. She pulls out Gaius's notes from Quantum Physics and frowns over them.

Cameron enters the study hall, he glared for a moment at where Rory, Han and Callisto are chatting and then sits down in a far away corner to study for the upcoming Criminology test.

Marty fidgets nervously.

"Yeah well... I've been running the emotional gambit this morning. I called Connor and left her a message saying I needed to talk to her about... you know what."

Marty sighs heavily and looks down at the floor.

"Plus there's the whole guilt factor of doing something unbelievably stupid and getting my girlfriend into motral danger." He says softly.

"You sure you're okay?"
