Aly had had a rather long and exciting night. Which resulted in very, very little sleep. And that possibly showed either in her rather ramshackle appearance or in the class that the students were about to experience.

She waited for her students to arrive at the Danger Shop with an expression of glee and amusement on her face.

"Today's the first of your practical lessons," she said, bouncing slightly on her toes. "It's a lesson not so much in specifics as improvisation. You'll be working in pairs and go through a series of obstacles and keep each other from getting hurt."

Aly flipped the controls of the Danger Shop to reveal...a rushing river of foamy hot chocolate over rapids of chunks of chocolate. Very, very large graham crackers and marshmallows sat by the side of the river. As did mugs. Beyond the river was a corral filled with yapping, wiggling, playing puppies who flung themselves at anything that came close to them. And beyond that? Was a very large wall.

She grinned and pressed another button. Voices seemed to come from the Danger Shop. "Oh noes! Oh noes!"

And then the wall exploded outward as a giant creature burst through. "OH YEEAAAAAAAH"

Aly couldn't help laughing. It had been a long night.

She looked back to the class. "Oh yes, and you and your partner need to bind two of your legs together. This is a three-legged contest."

Because Anders believed that. Right.

"Wyatt? Whyyyyyyyyyyy?"

"Maybe you should just listen," Wyatt said.

Anders gave him a funny look, but flipped open the phone and called his voicemail.

About two seconds later he had to hold the phone away from his ear, wincing.

"Um," he finally said after listening to (and saving) the message. "Um. Why does Piper think I'm engaged to Bel and your aunt?"

"Because it accidentally slipped out when I talked to her last night," Wyatt said.

Blink, blink.

"Why," Anders demanded, "would it accidentally slip out, from you, when it's not even true?"

"You told me you were!" Wyatt insisted.

"The hell?" Anders blurted out. "I never said anything like that!"

"Dude, you totally did!" Wyatt said.

"Dude! When did I ever say that?" Anders retorted stubbornly. "Did I ever actually say I was engaged to them? Can you even do that with three people? Seriously!"

"You told me you were engaged," Wyatt said stubbornly. "And you're from another planet and he's a demon, so who knows what the laws for polygamy are like there? Or you could move to Utah."

"Move to Utah and have your mom blow me up -- what do I look like, I'm crazy?" demanded Anders. "I never frakking said that! When did I say that?"

"On the roof, during the shirtless party," Wyatt said. "You called me your nephew-in-law and I asked if you were engaged and you were all evasive and said 'sort of.'"

"I -- but," spluttered Anders. "I mean, we're still together and there was some jewelry exchanging going on but nobody, like, proposed or anything, dude."

"Oh," Wyatt said. "Well, then . . . sorry about my mom wanting to kill you."

"Sorry, is all he says," Anders muttered under his breath. "Dude . . . what is with you today? Stop being all bouncy and weird."

". . . I'm bouncy and weird?" Wyatt said.

"You're hyper." Anders shook a finger at him. "Stop it. It's freaky."

"It's just a caffeine buzz," Wyatt said. "I'm just a little wired, that's all."

"Okay," Anders replied. He shot Wyatt a suspicious look. "Just don't go doing anything weird."

"Like what?" Wyatt said. Completely innocently.
